Left the body looking scuffed as hell. That thing use to clean up at the track. Mustang in the left lane crossed center before I could run out of his life. RIP Ruby Red.
My 2007 vmax had a 4l60 went out at 60k. Dealer said - I see at 2:45 am on Saturday you hit 6700 rpm and the shift point was moved and the pressure in trans was 40lbs more than stock allow. I said well I never tuned it I swear. They fixed under warranty and it went to 200k after

I'm sure the lq9 could get along with stock pistons as long as the octane is high enough. high compression + boost seems to be a recipe for a good time if you've got the right fuel, timing, etc to keep it healthy.

Bruh, I’m at last stage of a 2 yr build. Ly6, with a Texas speed stage 3 cam, 102 mm low intake manifold , 102 mm throttle body, new rods, springs, lifters and trays and the Holley terminator x. This for a 72’ Impala on 26’s. I ain’t talking bout racing… I just wanna mash out!!🤷🏾🤣😂

Tin canned both engine and trans computers. Lost oil pressure. Then realized I had tore all the mounts and cracked a manifold. BUT I smoked that Mitsubishi 3000 vr4 built. So he said. I felt it hit second gear at near 7k so hard I laid rubber for '50 at 65 mph. Use to shift at 55mph. I celebrated by doing donuts around the guy in the parking lot (transportation Blvd) Orlando . I knew something was wrong and limped off to the house.

My truck was built by scab worker while plant was on strike (Alabama plant). We found a signature made of gasket under intake plate. But I bought truck new
I’d love to have one of these. I look on marketplace all the time. I got a 2500hd lq4 actually 2 of them. And a 79 el Camino currently has the stock 305 that came in it. It sat off the highway for a few years and I put a battery on it plus a new starter and cranked it right up and drove it home. It has edelbrock top end parts and I had to run the bad gas out. It smokes a little I think it needs new rods as one sounds like it has a knock. I really want to put a 350 or better in it. Or get this 305 running nice it has some kind of nice sounding exhaust. I took it to a shop and the mechanics haven’t touched it for 5 months. I’m dissapointed and will be driving it back home to make the shop look stupid for not working on it and putting my project aside. No electrical works on the dash but it’s a nice straight body and the interior is immaculate. It’s my father and I project car we have 1200 in it plus a starter and battery. New paint and maybe get the cragars refinished and it would be cherry man.
Anybody know how to make a 5.43 valve Ford 2010 expedition pretty quick I take really good care of the motor seafoam the crank case with a whole bottle of seafoam every oil change the gas tank and it does run on ethanol it’s my family whip. I just wanna be able to hit the pedal and get out of a sticky situation. You feel me.

Ok......... those connecting rod bolts are going to cause fatigue and crack your engine you need them to be stock so they Flex ......when you put in the aftermarket s*** there is no flex and it'll start fatiguing the block.
The first LQ4 (iron block 6.0)came in the C3(1500) 2001 ! Later became the Denali rear steer ! C3 (awd)had a straight axil in the rear ! They had dish pistons (not forged) They will hold 150 n20 + 6lbs for a bout a year or 10k from my experience ! th-cam.com/video/ZGrT-owx7u8/w-d-xo.html Video from 2004 !

Great engines you make make 15 to 16 hundred horsepower if built right my friend has one and he had the block filled with concrete and put a forged destroked crank and I beam boost line rods and pistons and all he has is a sledgehammer kit nitrous kit

Other Than the intake cam and TB Richard Holdener has sent several 6.0s with fully stock bottom ends with nothing but gapped rings to 1400hp
