We are often pulled in different directions-between commitments to our jobs, families, country, and most importantly, to God. Sometimes these loyalties clash, and we are left wondering how to navigate them.
In Mark 12:13-17, Jesus is asked a loaded question about paying taxes to Caesar. In His response, He challenges us to think deeply about where our ultimate loyalty belongs. Jesus says, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's” (Mark 12:17).
Will you consider your loyalties and what God has called you to?
