You both have an excellent eye for pieces that are ready for a second life. Also, the font on the seating chart came out so well. Any tips when actually getting to the thrift store of what to stay clear of etc.? I would love to go thrifting and then revamp something but I have no idea where to start.

You guys, the backdrop is PHENOMENAL. We saw how well it's integrated into the space holistically, but it also serves its filming function perfectly! What a success! I did a number of DIYs for my wedding (incl my mom and I designed and made my dress and I made my veil) --what are you thinking for guest book-y function? I went with a map, foam core, pearl head pins and beautiful stationary I cut into pennants--ppl left notes and pinned on where they had traveled from all over the US! I displayed it in my apartment for almost a year til I had to move, but I still have all the notes!
