I was in egypt the first time in april 2008 ( by then i was in sharm el sheikh) . And im going back there but to Hurghada and the Giftun Islands. I really recommend diving in the red sea. its amazing. And for everyone, even those who can't swim. Since the water is so salt, you float like piece of wood.
Red Sea is amazing! I've been snorkling at Marsa Alam and you just see amazing things like sea turtles. I also had an encounter with a barracuda, but that's a fish you don't want to see next to your head!

What a beautiful example of the spectacular diving we have here in the Red Sea. For the non believers... we suggest you try popping over for a visit and see for yourselves... it really is this good!! And we get to dive in it every day... Happy Days!!
@6767linda haha when I was in Dahab we went to this cool Bedouin fish market with fresh catches and meals cooked at market price. It was a great experience; stayed at Red Sea Relax and scuba dived. Also saw a sea turtle swimming the opposite direction 10-20 meters below along a wall of coral
Ras El Sheitan and Ras mohammed are so amazing places to snorkel at. Believe me go there if you're in egypt. Ras mohammed is on the list of the 10 best places in the world to snorkel in
@thepohnation LOL i think you mean the dead sea? there is definitely that kind of sea life over there :D It is divers heaven up on earth if you dont believe it go check it by your self it is fantastic hope to bee back there again soon

you are confusing the dead sea with the red sea. The red sea has the same salinity as the oceans, because it is connected with the indian ocean.
