It looks like you're taking a break from YT and I fully support you not burning yourself out or focusing your attention on more important things! If/when you come back, I would LOVE more Arcs playthroughs like this. There isn't a lot of this content out there and you do such a great job with your commentary. Wishing you all the best!
I think doing more table talk is definitely the way to go when a player doesn’t realize the implications of their actions on themselves and the game balance. The tricky thing is that inexperienced player are harder to convince since whatever you’ll say will sound like “ I am just trying to get you off me “. Anyways Wp keep them coming ! Arcs is very nice game as a spectator.
I personally like how Orski goes about it, remaining silenced most of the time, but talking later when something really needs to be done. It can be annoying when someone try to talk you out of most of your decisions. I get that the table talk is part of the game, but I mean that sometimes people needs to make their own mistakes to learn from them even it means it sank the game for you. And yea, I totally agree with you that newer player will be more resisting when someone try to advise them and at this point, I feel like it's better to just roll with it as the more experienced player ;)
In your last action, you could have kept the 2 slots city that you built with the empath (ie during the prelude phase), then use shipping interests to get 1 additional fuel for tycoon and get first place. Empath are, to my knowledge, still prelude actions, not extra pips. It's good practice to treat them separately. It wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game though.
Could have gotten them an extra prelude fuel to move onto another open slot for the last city, netting +3 points. Irrelevant as Blue had second place Warlord secured, but you're 100% correct in treating psionics as separate actions in prelude.
Hello orski, i have a question for you. A while ago you made a video telling that you are going in a new arc for this "season" et the game will be arcs, even if you ll continue to make some dune content. It looks like you delete this video and you're not pushing arcs content as well, so did you change your mind about the game after a couple of games ? what made you change that? thank you ! love your content
woooof.... hopefully the community gets a little better at this game. I hate playing with players who play based on emotion rather than strategy... Hope to see more Arcs content coming
The TTS mod has a setting that allows all cards that were played face up to be visible in the discard pile. Cards used to copy or seize are not shown. This allows for everyone to easily have all the information about which cards have been played without having to remember / write it down because because people don't like when forcing one's self to remember a bunch of stuff is an advantage
@@Crumplebutt That's why it's an option. You can opt not to do it. But I think in a TTS setting it is probably the right call to play with it. There is nothing to stop other players from screen capping / writing down the cards that have been played, so why bother making players do a bunch of extra busy work when we can just easily display it. I don't particularly find that the memory portion is an interesting form of skill expression anyways.
100% not hating here but some of those rolls seemed sketchy. Mainly talking about the assault ones where the dice are reset to blank side and are rolled/clicked once. I don’t know if TTS dice rolling is random or physics based which it looks like it is but it looked like with one click you can basically just roll off those blanks into hits but I could be totally mistaken. Love all your videos and your insight into the games you play 🥰 Again no hate just an observation.
It looks random to me. The faces get shuffled whenever they click to roll, regardless of the dice physics. Edit: I guess if the dice don't roll very much, you might shuffle while they're in the air to click off blanks? Edit 2: The positions are slightly shuffled while they're in the air too, so I don't know how much it really matters.

Would love to see more Arcs! It's a lot of fun :)
Thanks for commentating, it makes for a great watch and I get to improve as well!

Good vibes around the table this time. Another great Arcs video, man. Love that you stuck it out and kept it competitive.
So glad you posted another vid! Love consuming this type of content
Need more arks gameplay
You forgot that the material cartel recalls all materials at the end of a chapter after scoring.
Digital adaptation of boardgame TH-camrs unite! (I do Fury of Dracula)
Forgrting about Railgun Lorecard was imho crucial

There will always be people who make decisions based on emotions. Both in games and in real life.
At 1:41:56 could you secure with the relic even with the passive of your leader ?
I think you can secure "VOX" cards even with only one agent, you just need 2+ for guild cards.
What workshop mod is this?

Are the cards meant to be visible in the discard pile?

I'm about halfway through. Yellow was such a douche. Why play games (especially something as cutthroat as ARCS) with that attitude?
Thank you for another video. I stil love Root more tho.
