I wish I could learn from you in person! I’ve been drumming for 20 years, but I haven’t been able to quite master a lot of the things you teach because the majority of what I know is self taught. And getting hit by a car almost 10 years ago put back to basics for sometime. You really are the best teacher I’ve ever come across and hope to learn from more once I’m able to buy and setup another drum set that is one of Luke Hollands kits.

like a lot of guitar players we started wanting to play drums but find a 6 string instrument is easier really. that said, our heart is still as a great drummer so videos like this are fun to watch for guitarists too. lol

funny thing is i know the "feeling" of this sequence like the muscle memory, but i couldn't do it slow .. like at all. as soon as i start thinking left right kick my brain goes numb and my feet go everywhere.

She's pretty young, so not long I guess. I've been playing for over 35 years, and I would struggle to play most of the stuff she does, but then I never really 'learnt' I taught my self without really understand what I was doing, Lol..
@@WarrenCromartie2 That's totally fair! I had lessons when I was really young but quit because my parent's expectations of me were set far too high, and I just got back into it again years later and then started to self-train myself.

Sure it is bro. Just follow the pattern and start at slow bpm. Get it smooth and slowly increase the bpm. You got this dawg! 👍

@@Greggles47 well, probably a really hard thing to answer and can only be learned with experience, but, how could I stop breaking loops of same drum patterns inside of my head when I'm playing, like when you'd record drums freestyle so to say
