數字藝術家--宮島達男 The Artist of Numbers - Tatsuo Miyajima

63歲的日本藝術家宮島達男，用數字元素呈現作品，聞名世界。今年5月，他在上海辦展，帶著16位觀眾，從“9”到“1”進行倒數，數到“0”時，屏息倒地，周而復始。這是宮島達男在亞洲最大規模的個展，他用這種極端表演提醒人們珍惜生命，一條對他進行了專訪。
63-year-old Japanese artist Tatsuo Miyajima was known for number elements in his art works. This May, in his Shanghai exhibition, he and other 16 volunteers put on a show where they counted down from 9 to 1, and they dropped to the ground as they counted to 0, and did that again and again. This is Tatsuo Miyajima’s biggest solo exhibition in Asia. By such extreme ways of performance he reminds people to cherish life. Check out the video for Yit’s interview with him.
