A very concise, well paced, well presented video. Very good use of graphics and a clear view of the phone whilst in use. Sometimes, just seeing something like how the keys are illuminated is better than any manual or text. A very professional and well made video all round. Very useful. Thanks
Very helpful - I'm jusr setting one up. Some things you didn't mention are; you can change the background colour (you only mentioned blue which is the default) and the wallpaper of the display screen , and also send or receive text messages Also you can use the handset to record memo messages and use hands free.

Very helpful review, I installed this phone yesterday, I am getting a very loud intermittent sound interference on the phone when both receiving and making a call, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
I have been trying to get this phone, but it says currently unavailable. I was upset as I bought a BT premium BT 100% call blocking that came under the BT Call gaurdian range. However, I was very disappointed to find the greeting is not the same and instead of saying as this 8500 you have, this number is being screened by BT call guardian, please say your name and then press hash and wait to be connected. My phone says this number is being screened by a BT call blocking phone. I don't like that it sounds awful. Where can I get a call guardian phone that has the same greeting as the 8500 that you just showed above.
I have a withheld number block with my service provider, but they cannot block international withheld numbers getting through would this model stop those? If it does not and the call gets through after the screening would I then have the option (#3) to block this call in the future?
Yes is the simple answer :) if the number is not in your phone number listing (that you create) & they get the recorded message asking them to announce themselves they usually hang up....hurray!! I used to get about 3 to 5 international calls per day & although the exercise of running for the phone is sometimes missed ...not! This item I would have to say has been on of my best buys

I have a lot of difficulty getting a dial tone, usually I have to ring it from my mobile to activate it. Any suggestions, pls?
Got my phones but there not blocking outgoing calls even tho I've set this up , are my phones faulty or is there something else wrong
