(16th - 17th century) British Colonisation - the British first colonise America in 1604. However, my 13 colonies as a whole//my America was born in 1750
(1775 - 1783) American Revolution - In the of Yorktown, America cuts off Britain's wings
(1787) Creation of the Constitution - America, with the help of his older brother, Marius (on his right), leads the new born nation
(1812 - 1815) Burning of Washington
(1846 - 1848) Mexican-American War
(1848 - 1855) California Gold Rush - California's design belongs to a good friend of mine, Nessa :)
(1830 - 1860) Rapid Westward Expansion and Sectionalism - Marius also starts to become jealous of America
(1860) South Carolina secedes - Marius becomes the Confederacy
(1865) Union Victory - America shoots his brother
(1866) Admission of Southern States - Tennessee re-enters the Union as Florida and Louisiana stand in the background
(1870s) America takes a long break from office since the Civil War, and starts to improve personal ties with all of his states and family, such as his sister Canada and Britain

(1930s) The Great Depression - I drew Weimar here because in my lore, the two bonded over the Depression (and also fell in love LMAO-)

My God
This is the most I've ever spent on an animation before, so I really hope you all enjoy it!! I tried my best to cram in the entirety American history with some hints of my lore (especially at the end lol) and while there is a lot more than what I drew, I think these are the most significant
Of course, there are a lot of "gray parts" in America's history that I know are as or even more important, but I didn't want to illustrate it out of respect,, this is just a Countryhumans animation meme literally called the "Good in Me" lmao, after all

This video is actually really good, and I really love the art! But although I am a much smaller creator, I feel like I should point something out. I am not trying to be rude, although I might seem that way :)
For somebody who-by the looks of this video-has quite a good understanding of history, I am curious as to why you made the Japanese Empire a woman. The Japanese Empire did many terrible things, including but not limited to: Unit 731, Comfort women, mass killings when the Japanese invaded China, r@pe, sending children (14 - 17 during the battle of Okinawa to go fight, etc. Personifying all of that into a woman is not in any way historically accurate.
I have my guess as to the reason. As someone just coming back into the CH fandom- I can tell ya that for most of the fan works the Japanese Empire is depicted as female. Don't ask my why- I don't know what originally started it. All I know is that it's really common to the point its the initial first depiction for many.

Since Imperial Japan has fox tails, she's an obvious reference to kitsune, which are known to take the form of beautiful women. Character design might've been the only thing on the creator's mind (kitsunes are definitely a fan favorite for anime fans lol), but I can always appreciate mythology in Countryhumans. Although I can get why usage during the WW2 era might be questionable. "State Shinto" was the official religion of Japan during the time, but it seems it was very focused on the worship of Emperor Hirohito than anything else... so I'm not sure how "traditional" it could be.
In any case, I'd make Imperial Japan a woman. The divine ancestor of the Imperial House, for which the emperors of Japan are said to be descended from, is Amaterasu, the sun goddess. It's kinda like how I made America a woman as a reference to Miss Columbia and Lady Liberty... even if women have historically had very little power. My own countryhumans are more like spirits or patron gods than just humans, anyway (Ancient Greece still had goddesses despite treating real women very poorly y'know).

Though in my opinion, making Japanese Empire a man just makes more sense. Many countryhumans AUs say that the countryhuman is a representative; it would be odd to make a country, which slaughtered thousands and did unspeakable things to women, a female. I feel your Imperial Japan would be better suited as the traditional side of the country, instead of the whole country itself :) ((as people do sometimes make two representations for one country, making them represent different things))

That's something I kinda do. My countryhumans are shapeshifters too, so I don't think it's any issue for mine what gender they take the form of, all things concerned (don't know about the creator's, which... is your original point admittedly lol). Countries are probably the most complex social-structure-thing nature could've imagined, so trying to fit all that into... one person... is but a fruitless endeavor. But we try anyway, cuz that's the fun of it, so I made mine patron gods so I could circumvent some of this stuff. Doesn't erase any instances of political incorrectness but it helps.
Back to Imperial Japan, you might be right. The military was the most important thing to them anyway, but my point still stands.
(Nazi Germany would take the form of a man too... not unrelated to the whole "fatherland" thing.)
