      We lived in a duplex long ago and had a neighbor’s daughter who was very quick with her hands too. It’s unbelievable how bold and quick they are.

    Stealing is a psychological issues. She has unresolved trauma from childhood. The loss of both of her parents with no family to account for her existence is traumatizing. Since she was so young when she endured these trauma she subconsciously and internalized everything. I hope she gets the counseling that she desperately needs. It’s not her fault, she’s the product of her situation and environment. Good luck!

      She was just 2 when her parents died. She would've had no understanding of death. So no, she did not endure any trauma. She was adopted not long after by her loving uncle and aunt who provided everything for her. Spoiled her! So no, she's not a product of her environment. It does seem like she has a psychological problem but there's no one to blame except herself. She's a grown a$$ adult who knows what she's doing. She just doesn't want to change, just like all serial thieves who get caught, go to jail, get released, and then just repeat the cycle.

    Stealing is a disease and an addiction just the same as drugs and alcohol and gambling. She needs professional help. I hope you guys will consider that for her.

    I want to hear from the daughter story. Trust me, she didn't get enough love. Hmong parents back then can't love anyone else child. Seriously, the parents just talked to her. She probably got her ass beat. I know how it feels I seen so many orphans not receiving love from the step parents. Especially the women.

    We used to have a nyab who steals everything from anywhere in the house. If you’re not careful she would sneak and suddenly steal your unwashed clothes to clothes in the dryer and from new clothes in your bedroom to taking my parents collection of $2 and $50-$100 from the photo album to my deceased brother photo album (memory), etc. After all those time of her stealing we finally heard she stole a gold necklace from one of her aunty when she was younger too.

    This started at a young age, she was raised by your parents from a young age… where were your parents in disciplining her? Sounds like the consequences were never harsh enough. The consequences were “dont do that, well get you what you want”… I don’t understand why hmong people like to blame everything on genetics … sounds like she was spoiled by your parents. They loved her too much and always making excuses for her actions. Once she is old theres little chance of changing that habit. Koj niam koj txiv muab hlub dhau lawm thiaj li xyaum tsis tau zoo xwb. Hmong people are very passive about addressing bad habits/character, just like how we hmong people tolerate condescending/nasty people in our own families to “avoid problems”. No one is willing to address the actual issues. Now thats she older she is creating her own issues, let the consequences get her so she can learn the reality of life.

    • @MonaLisa-de4cp
      @MonaLisa-de4cp 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that's all true. I believe that had the parents also disciplined physically and verbally at the same time, then she might have stopped stealing as a young child. She obviously didn't get to experience real consequences of her actions so she had no fear. It's stupid to blame stealing on genetics but that's hmong people with stupid excuses/reasons.

      It’s not the parents’ fault when she is an adult. She has choices but she chose to take the easy ones and steals. Her parents did love her and provided for her till she’s an adult.

    Sometimes orphans will steal as a form of self love due to lack of attachment. Your sister lost her parents during the time a child is most attached to their mother and father. This must have traumatized her dramatically especially to a child who wouldn't understand at that age. She needs professional help. Most people who don't understand or walk her shoes will label her like she's just a bad seed. Parents who adopts these children to be to patient and understanding and be willing to work on redirecting their behaviors from a young age.

    Cov ntxhais tub sab thiab nyab tub sab no koj hais hais tuag kiag los lawv yeej tsis yuav leej twg hais. Nws yeej tsis ntseeg kev npam thiab tsis paub txaj muag li. Koj yim hais nws ces koj yog tus yuav npam xwb. Koj txoj kev npam ces yog nws yim ntxub koj es haj yam yuav tuaj steal from you. So just stay away from them, watched them carefully when you are around each other’s and make sure you have camera installed in your houses.

    • @LillyRose09

      I have to be honest that when you’re on the receiving end, it does feel like hell. Maybe not technically correct as the title but it is very frustrating and mentally exhausting to have someone like this around. Nothing breaks trust and relationships like stealing and lying.

    The poor bastard that suffers the most is the husband. The younger sister and the parents don’t have to deal with her daily and they don’t live with her so they don’t have to see her if they don’t want to. But the husband is the one that has to live with her and deal with her daily. Feel sorry for him. 😂😂😂
    But on a serious note, this lady has issues that’s beyond her conscious mind. She doesn’t choose to steal because she needs the item or is poor. She steals as a type of mental satisfaction like people get from gambling. It’s the same type of addiction as gambling, it makes them get a super high from it when they do it. She needs professional help.

    Your title was mean. Yes, she may have mental issues. He also had a great loss too of her parents. I know it’s not an excuse but you have to try to understand. Telling people that she’s the sister from hell is not helping either. Plus you didn’t even say sister you say adopted sister.

    If the story is true, she is so ungrateful for a person who has no parents. With another set of parents, her life might of been worst.
    Maybe she is hurt. So she does crap like that to get attention from your parents. If not, she is a lost cause. Just let her be. Sometimes she gotta hit rock bottom for her to learn.
