Yes it is
I really like David's arc throughout this show so far. He was very afraid of everything in s1, but throughout that season he learned to conquer his fears. 1st his regular ones in s1ep6 and then his social ones in s1ep12. But after that he hasn't really conquered his feeling of being less then others because of his fears. Until now. I'd say this ep is all abt David realising that it's alright to be afraid sometimes, useful even. Which is a great realisation when it comes to accepting himself.
Being fearless makes you reckless, it makes you believe you're invincible, which is exactly what happened when the Viking clan got ahold of the necklace.
Being afraid doesn't mean you are weak, but rather that you value something that you aren't willing to lose ( in most instances is your life) which makes you double think your actions and come up with a proper plan; the secret is not letting fear control you, so you can control fear.
late asf but in the bright side I just watched your reaction to this episode and I'll get another one tomorrow.
It was a nice David episode, loved the little moment between the gang near the end.

When a kids show shows something like that, which is actually terrible is you think about it, it always owes my respect. Because rating system is lame.
