This would have been the coolest thing ever. Pearl Jam, Killer setlist on the coolest television set in history in the most important musical theatre ever.
Holy shoot this is incredible. SO easy to see how much they are enjoying themselves. And great setlist. Must have felt great to play such a small and special venue after years of stadiums.
It was amazing man. Being my first concert and a festival, I saw so many great bands. Pearl Jam opened with Oceans and ended with Alive. They also played Teenage Wasteland by The Who. Eddie climbed up the metal side of the stage about 20ft, he didn't jump (I didn't expect him to considering his age), but it was badass. Mike played the National Anthem and that was fucking amazing! Overall It was the best experience of my life.
For David Letterman to let Pearl Jam hold a 10 song Webcast Concert, is probably the reason Eddie asked Letterman to induct them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Idk about that, at least w/the different performances to which one(s) I prefer as the best. My personal opinion I’ve thought from the moment I first heard the performance they did of it back in 1995 in Melbourne, Australia. It’s found on 1 of the most unbelievably crystal clear sounding bootlegs espcly back around that time. The show I’m talking about is found on the bootleg ‘Aussie Dynamos’. That performance they did when playing that song I feel is the utmost greatest friggin’ Porch I’ve ever heard still to this day! Those reading this not familiar with this bootlegged show need to seriously hear that one & then come back & tell me that this Letterman performance of Porch is still the best you’ve ever heard em do!
I must have been under a rock for this- was this an extension of a Letterman appearance, or a show on its own? Fan club show? Details would be appreciated! Thanks.
So any of you could upload the setlist to watch song by song while I'm working...thanks. By the way, Eddie is a monster, I'm just waiting to see him in november here in Chile =)
..hmmm.. so Colbert could theoretically do that? 'allow' or provide concert space..? (ref the remark about letterman and that particular concert space.)
At this point, Pearl Jam had not played Leash since April 1994. Fans, frustrated by the band not playing leash, organized a campaign to get the band to play it, which involved holding up signs with the word 'Leash' on them at Pearl Jam concerts. The Campaign bore fruit three weeks later when Pearl Jam played Leash for the first time in 12 years. Pearl Jam went on to play Leash 20 times on the 2006 tour.
TH-cam Pearl Jam Leash and see for ourself. Or better yet go buy Pearl Jam's oringinal self titled album (AKA VS.). You may think I added that last part to show how dorky I am of a PJ fan, damn straight :D
Avcado is so underestimated album but there are so many great tracks.
These guys will go down as one of biggest bands of all time. They are the definition of "keeping it real".
10 years later from this comment... Yes.
They are only around because they are yes men. One of the most talented compromised bands to ever hit the stage though.
13 years from this comment, no.
8 years later and this small show is still incredible.
Best PJ show ever!!!
CRAIG SWEARINGEN shiit 10yrs later and still great
solat90ro 14 years later..it’s still rocking.
16 years later and it's still unbelievably incredibly great. I play this everyday
1:08 World Wide Suicide
4:37 Comatose
8:54 Severed Hand
13:11 Marker in the Sand
18:08 Gone
22:33 Unemployable
26:55 Present Tense
32:24 Do The Evolution
38:16 Why Go
41:38 Porch
Thanks bud!
Eddie’s voice is like a fine wine it gets better with age
He took singing classes, and salvaged a voice that could have got old, that instead, aged like fine wine.
Wow. Do the Evolution sounded incredible here.
Matt, the drummer, providing all the backup vocals... not easy
Someone needs to keep PJ and AIC in a safe place, cause these guys will never be duplicated. Thanks for years of total enjoyment!!!
This band has no equal. Present Tense was beyond description...
26:56 on my marker.
Present Tense. Really great performance and really great crowd
On my momma, you right G.
put headphones on the mix is incredible. Guitars are separated into left and right and sound great!
This would have been the coolest thing ever. Pearl Jam, Killer setlist on the coolest television set in history in the most important musical theatre ever.

I'm never disappointed, long live Pearl Jam!!
Still think the 06 Pearl Jam was one of their best
Especially how they kept the classic grunge sound, while creating entirely new and original songs.
It was amazing man. Being my first concert and a festival, I saw so many great bands. Pearl Jam opened with Oceans and ended with Alive. They also played Teenage Wasteland by The Who. These guys as definition are simply incredible exciting
Had to plug headphones in and jam this! Amazing performance, every song!
Mike McCready is the best live guitarist ever.
For David Letterman to let Pearl Jam hold a 10 song Webcast Concert, is probably the reason Eddie asked Letterman to induct them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
no doubt
Neil Young was supposed to induct them to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 😊✌️
Nah, Both smelly Freemason scum.

Totally agree with you, Christian.

Where can I download this compete video in HD? I'm a big fan of Pearl Jam.
mike lost his goddamn mind in this show
😂 🤪
15:03 - Eddie Vedder look. Missed it!
Just like in the Jeremy video
Wild eyed Eddie is the best Eddie
..hmmm.. so Colbert could theoretically do that? 'allow' or provide concert space..?
(ref the remark about letterman and that particular concert space.)
Should I know, and should I care?
Question folks, if the fans wanted Leash that bad, why was it so off the table that they would not play Leash? To me, that is a bit, odd. No?
I guess Leash will not be played
what is living love...?
I give up, what's the the big deal about playing "Leash"? It's an ok song, but I barely know it and don't hear it on the radio.
Songlist please?
Lol! Why does EVERYBODY wanna hear Leash? Is it every Pearl Jam fans' favourite number?
Whats the word with Leash? Does any1 know?
The who song is called Baba O'riley
Wait... were they booing them at 13:03? How can you boo this? This is incredible!
They are probably shouting BOOM for Boom Gaspar the keyboard player of PJ :)
It's a common thing to do in Pearl Jam lives
BOOOOOOOM!
song name at 13.25??
Carco it's called marker in the sand:)
CarcoCraccotispacco are u even listening? eddie just said the title
"Leash will not be played tonight." Not smart, Eddie.
Why did they want them to play leash so bad?
because it's aggressive and a hit
At this point, Pearl Jam had not played Leash since April 1994. Fans, frustrated by the band not playing leash, organized a campaign to get the band to play it, which involved holding up signs with the word 'Leash' on them at Pearl Jam concerts. The Campaign bore fruit three weeks later when Pearl Jam played Leash for the first time in 12 years. Pearl Jam went on to play Leash 20 times on the 2006 tour.
oh wow i didnt know that, thanks
la wea bacan...¡¡
It's "Boooooooooooooom!" not boooooooo
mind your manners manny.
pardon my ignorance, but why does it seem that people are booing?
They’re actually yelling “BOOM” for Boom Gaspar their keyboard player who was really featured on that Marker in the Sand song…
patate frite
eddie looks grumpy
TH-cam Pearl Jam Leash and see for ourself. Or better yet go buy Pearl Jam's oringinal self titled album (AKA VS.). You may think I added that last part to show how dorky I am of a PJ fan, damn straight :D
They have better ones
They wanted to play Leash but Eddie disagreed with them.
So Eddie has thought about suicide. This is the life of the great creative, if they are not doing it, they destruct.
What in the hell are you talking about..
What the hell are you on about???
Sorry I was probably talking about me at the time.
Sod off
Dammit.....I feel like a fucking idiot. I'm just not that big of a fan of The Who.
No big deal lol
