Hi @Harun, That is a great question. Though I feel the improved Stem Lock Mechanism, Handlebar Locking Mechanism and Control Arms makes a considerable difference in the stability and handling of this Scooter. I have not experienced any Stem speed Wobble, however these "single pole Stems are not my favorite" because they tend to not handle the dips, small manhole covers, cracks and bumps in the road without compromising its stability. Seems as though with these type of stems, that no matter how good the locking mechanisms, the Stem itself just can't handle the shock. I'm not sure that the Steering Damper would make much of a difference since as I have gone 58mph without Stem Wobble on a smooth street but on dippy, uneven roads the Stem displays its natural characteristic. The Dualtron X and Wolf Warrior in my opinion- with those heftier Stems... offer total stability (speed, nor uneven terrain impact them negatively). That all said, I'm still testing the Storm and will give my FULL OHvation Rating soon but so far, I really like the Dualtron Storm, and would say if a Steering Damper would make you feel more secure on uneven terrain... go for it (do add one to yours), it will only make your ride that much more pleasurable. The Dualtron Storm is definitely worth its value and worth having. It's a LOTTA FUN Harun. Call my friends- John and Cooper over at MiniMotorsUSA.com and tell them OhManDan recommended you and they will roll out the red carpet for you. I love these Guys, their excellent customer service, their professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail, always answer the phone- ALL... CAUSES ME to RECOMMEND them HIGHLY. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan VORO, but my scooter arrived with the rear fender brace was snapped in two 😔 They're mailing out a replacement part though 🙌 I was also getting rubbing on the front rotor but I watched another one of your videos on how to fix that 🙂👍 Now I just seem to have a lot of vibration, like the tires are out of balance. Researched that issue and that's apparently a normal thing for e-scooters? Does your Storm Limited vibrate at all? I'm not riding mine yet. This is just with it propped up for testing. Thanks for all of your help and quality content 🍻
@@GitDatPC hey Buddy... I'm glad they are taking good care of you. No it shouldn't be Vibrations under load (wait 'til you ride it and check for Vibrations under your load) if so then you may not have proper tire pressure. Check your PSI and make sure you pump the right amount (never more but you can go 4PSI lower, no more) Make sure you charge it up in the morning when you're awake. Never charge without being around to monitor (that means no running to the store, no sleeping, or no outside bar b que'ing)queuing. Check that all screws are tight, folding lock mechanism Clamps are tight, Damper is tight then in the morning start your charge. It's going to be at least 10hrs unless you have a good amount of charge already.
How do you like the Acceleration and fast start on your Dx1 or the storm, did you tweak it a little to curb the aggressiveness on the start, or you simply got used to it.
Actually, I prefer the fast start, as opposed to the slower settings. I feel the same about my experience riding the SST Weped and the Rion Thrust. Of course if you own a DTX, you know that the stability of that Scooter is like nothing you've ever ridden. It's a total freak of nature. Totally STABLE at ANY high speed. The DTX is literally the BEST Electric Scooter I have ever ridden.
I recently bought Dx2, got it last week, and I am still getting adjusted to the speed it's a little different from my Cycleboard Rover, this is the real thing, more like a motorcycle, thank you for the very helpful videos you posted.
@@cassandreams Congratulations! You own the King of the Road. No body out there will ever take that from any DTX Owner. I won't get my DTX2 until Jan. I love the improvements especially the 2" addition to the stem height (I'm 6' 1" tall).

@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan Hey man I'm gonna order the Thrust soon and just saw you mentioned it here, so I was wondering how did you feel about the acceleration curve of it - I'm wondering 'cause there is yet to be seen any data on the Watts for performance or detailed Amps-information the controllers can shoot so I'm a bit worried the acceleration could be way different from what I'm expecting from a scooter at that price level. I just can't see why Rion almost seems to hide that information specifically only about the Thrust on the whole internet; it's quite frustrating. Anyway thx man.
I don't know which one you're referring to Jerson but in context to the video you're watching, I would say the STORM. I have taken the STORM to 58mph and it was very stable. The new Stem Lock, Handlebar Locking Mechanism, Control Arm union with BLDC Motors and Swing Arm has a lot to do with that improved stability from the Thunder.

You're the first person who noticed them. They really got my attention when I saw them because I was going to pay $269 per light for similar looking lights and then I saw these on Amazon for $36 and figured I have nothing to lose by trying them. When they came they were made of high quality metal, wired with waterproofing battery casing, heat resistor and a red blinking rear light that I like to put on the front for more visibility. The light is called: LAFALINK Bike Light. It is 10,000 Lumens with three settings. 4hrs on 10k lumens, 6hrs on flash light mode, and 10hrs for low light. It is really really bright. I tested it last night and it was like having on high beams. I don't understand how they're able to sell it at such a low price. I guess it depends on what you call wobble... there is absolutely no speed wobble. The stem is really stable. However, if you know Irvine (as you imply) you know that the roads in Irvine are quite uneven with many potholes. There are places that any smart rider will and should adjust where road conditions are unsafe. Choosing an eScooter for (Big Dawg) Riders who are tall, heavy, have big feet and/or hands must in addition to NEEDS... meet certain criteria, like having: 1. A larger DECK 2. Wider Handle Bars 3. A larger load capacity 4. Have bigger Grips 5. Have Power/Torque 6. Have Quality, Strong Durable suspension 7. Have 11" or larger Pneumatic Tires 8. Have reliable breaks With at least 160mm Rotors 9. Hey Casilacofspokane... I'm sorry it looked that way to you but there definitely weren't any type of wobble. I think what you saw at those higher speeds were me going over several uneven pavements. If you look closely, you will see the many tarred asphalt surfaces in those areas that appeared to be wobble (and like on any Scooter, just the retracting after going over such raised repaired tar surfaces). I took it to 58mph without any wobble what so ever.
@@casilacofspokane how much do you weigh? That will determine how fast you go and at a lighter weight, say 110 to 140lbs you may experience less traction on that front tire. Not wobble but it can affect control on take off. So you may want to experiment with the P Settings for slow start and see how it feels to you. It really takes off aggressively. They suggest we take our eScooters out when the climate is warmer in our geographical locations. That said... I know a lot of us have ridden our eScooters in different climates and never really noticed any difference. I do know that on my subsequent rides that the weather was cooler. I really don't have a big problem with my Storm averaging 47-52mph because my weight typically gives me 50-55mph on my eScooters that are made to exceed 60mph. Most Riders are aware that speed and range varies per rider based on the rider's weight, road conditions, weather, "P" Settings, and windage. The issue most have is their suggestion of 62+mph. All I can say at this point is that I really like the Storm and its many many Pros outweighs the speed con. I have several eScooters of different Brands and I have never gotten their suggested speed maximums. But I have always gotten close enough that its not been a major concern. I will be a little more conscious of the climate the next time I take her out to see if my Storm gives me any higher outcome but I am going to keep my Storm because I really like it Mark. Is there a wobble at higher speeds? Steering damper is must?
Yes @@GitDatPC, please keep me posted. Who did you buy from? MiniMotors or VORO?
I'm sure you told them that OhManDan sent you, and they took good care of You, right?
Check your PSI and make sure you pump the right amount (never more but you can go 4PSI lower, no more)
Make sure you charge it up in the morning when you're awake.
If you could only have one of your scooters which one would it be? Storm and Ultra are amazing but so is the X2 and Thunder.
It would be my X2 ALL DAY @Gary Patty... ALL DAY!!

What’s the fastest speed that you have gotten on your scooter? How much you weight btw
Oh yeah Jerson, I am 222lbs

I'm almost sure,, we (all of us who have purchased a Storm LTD) should be very happy with our Storm LTD purchases
Nice to see what you're doing just wondering what's the name of those lights you have at the front of your scooter
The materials look to cost at $80 each (looks very high quality)

What's up Dan! Love your videos! Question: has the suspension on the Storm softened up a bit? or are they still really stiff?
Hey @Chi Jeul Chung... Thanks Buddy. I actually decided to keep them stiff. Works best for my weight. Doesn't feel as stiff as before. I've taken her up to the Mountains and several places since the initial ride and it is really good right now. If you weigh close to my weight (226lbs) I would leave the stiff cartridges on it.
I've been riding long enough to judge when and how those adjustments are implemented as every experienced Rider shall and will. Thank you for your input but it isn't the Scooter, it's road condition and My safe judgement where ever they may exist... I will ALWAYS err on the side of caution and LIVE to RIDE another day. which is the best scooter for tall riders, im 6,3
Hey @Beat and Run... thanks for visiting Scootopia. If you like my Videos make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my Channel so that you don't miss any of my eScooter Content.
You have to still keep in mind that choosing the right Scooter isn't based on BEST because ONLY the factors of individual NEED determine what Scooter is BEST for a person. There is no BEST Scooter (only those that MEET the purchaser's NEEDS become THEIR best)
That being said and always considered first...
Choosing an eScooter for (Big Dawg) Riders who are tall, heavy, have big feet and/or hands must in addition to NEEDS... meet certain criteria, like having:
1. A larger DECK
2. Wider Handle Bars
3. A larger load capacity
4. Have bigger Grips
5. Have Power/Torque
6. Have Quality, Strong
Durable suspension
7. Have 11" or larger
Pneumatic Tires
8. Have reliable breaks
With at least 160mm
Rotors
9. Depending on Arm
length, unique sized
Stems. For example,
I have very long arms
So 40" Stems work
very good for me. If
your arms are shorter
than my 82-83" span
may need a taller
Stem.
It's all RELATIVE to the Rider and that particular Rider's physical make-up.
what gear do you have on??
It's mixed Brands Terrel... My body armor is FOX... My Helmet is ILM... My Knee Pads are G-Form... My Gloves are BILT... Mt shoes are TCX Motorcycle Sport...

This Scooter has a lotta Torque that gives it a very aggressive take off. If you like high settings and immediate power, this will be a great fit for you but if you think you will want a more tamed take off, I will suggest that you wait until the New Dualtron Line Up comes out (the New Dualtron Storm LTD, and the New Dualtron Thunder 2) I know that if you have a problem with the kinda torque that the current Storm has, that that power will become a real problem for you later but if you truly love (like me) that immediate aggressive power, that you will like the current Storm.

Hard to tell but looks like you were getting speed wobble at the higher speeds.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan nice, I have one on order so just wondering if I need a dampener or not.
@@casilacofspokane how much do you weigh? That will determine how fast you go and at a lighter weight, say 110 to 140lbs you may experience less traction on that front tire. @@markmcginleu4929 yes the manufacturer said that they are not experiencing those same outcomes in warmer climates and have only had those complaints in cooler climate areas.
Hope this helps.
