Hello, just want you to know that I enjoy your videos very much and I am a subscriber to your channel. Quick question for you I noticed on your steering wheel on the top you have the chrome piece the centrepiece which centres your steering wheel may I ask where you acquired this item, it comes with the MC. I know that for our Maserati Gran Turismo sport we don’t have that option. I would like to get from mine. Can you please tell me where I can acquire one? Thank you.
Whenever I drive my 2013 Gran Turismo in sport mode using the shift function I noticed that if I drive a little to sedate, and have the RPMs low between shifts I get a little bit of knocking and pinging before the engine picks up... This only happens if I use moderate throttle, but because I like to hear the exhaust sometimes I use this mode while just driving around fairly normally. My guess is that in sport mode the timing is advanced slightly and since I can only get 91 octane fuel it just isn't a good combination for driving around rather slowly to hear the exhaust... I plan on installing one of the BMW exhaust solenoids and a switch so I can simply listen to the exhaust in normal factory driving mode. To be honest however I don't drive quickly, I don't really need any sportiness, as I daily drive my Gran Turismo. I typically get between 21 and 22 mi per gallon average!

Agreed but didn’t have easy access to one. Hopefully this stills gives you a sense. Personally the butt-in-seat data was most compelling. This thing really works!
It does not claim to increase torque or HP but in my experience shared in the video it seems to give a 15-20% boost. But, this is just my butt-in-seat data.
@@rettsummerville4573 I agree with Rett. I just installed mine and wow what a difference! Almost dangerous at first until you get used to the quick response to driver inputs. It says it doesn't increase horsepower, but like Rett says, you definitely feel that there's a lot more power, even if there isn't. I highly recommend this upgrade. The car is even more fun to drive if you can imagine that.

Thanks for your feedback. That's actually just a reflection at the top of the steering wheel, I only have leather. I haven't seen a chrome piece sold for that. Might try chrome molding but not sure it would stick well long term. www.ebay.com/itm/303518504640?chn=ps&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A1_3vxbHp_QwmrmXfGEkJ7zQ3&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=303518504640&targetid=2321310837104&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9009669&poi=&campaignid=21214302385&mkgroupid=161029887581&rlsatarget=aud-1412318123216:pla-2321310837104&abcId=9407524&merchantid=110331769&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwuMC2BhA7EiwAmJKRrKH9wQ3fDj3Ujmm0OpCOLSndNohWghudc6GuXsG1I_IjLcM9Mj-OORoCFhgQAvD_BwE

I have a 2013 Maserati Gran Turismo I have a pedal responder online the product that you advertising. It seems like it doesn’t do anything different than my pedal responder if that’s not true let me know.
Not sure what pedal responder you have but if you are happy with it then great! I trust FD's system because they are reputable experts in Maserati and Ferrari.
Hmmm. Is a Maserati GT sport owner I feel that Maserati did a great job in terms of sport mode respons the problem is top speed, horsepower and torque. In my opinion any device that does not drastically improve those areas is a waste of time.
@@endshadow7066 I agree the factory sport mode setting was done well. But if you wanna be able to GO when you push the pedal down without a delay and the drama, esp in touring mode, the drive-by wire enhancement module absolutely works. Plus it makes the sport mode even more aggressive. In the Maserati community I really haven’t heard of anyone that installed this who didn’t love it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
The FD DBWEM installation video is now available! th-cam.com/video/Hu36fRXT3_g/w-d-xo.html
Kudos for putting in a ton of work, that's to be commended! 👏 Very fascinating data.

Formula dynamics makes a ECM tune that increases BHP and torque, but only moderately.
