These days Japanese team is no longer predictable ,they may have lost however every team should be watchful .Despite their heights ,those guys have been extremely aggresive and they are playing good volleyball..They have been putting a huge show to the world.I'm loving the growth of that team!!!

It is easy to dismiss the Japanese team's loss to Poland for all sorts of reasons. But remember this is a new team that is saying to the world "We are here, and we will play excellent volleyball for the world within the next few years". This is a very young and relatively inexperienced team. The current Japanese team reminds the world of those great Japanese teams that won Olympics and world championships in the 1960-70s. Of course, like every team, Ryujin Nippon has its strengths and weaknesses. But I bit they are working on those issues for the 2024 Paris Olympics! Bravo, Ryujin Nippon!
I wonder if the game was held on a more neutral venue, much exciting for sure. 🎉

You would think as professional volleyball players you would NOT have your smallest guy blocking their Biggest hitter
sometimes the point isn't to full on shut down a spike, but to slow it down. shorter players work well for that. team japan plays very strategically, they're good at utilizing players regardless of their own height or their opponents' height :)

Polish are kind and gentle people, it's just that they are very passionate in volleyball because of its rich history in their country and most of their younger generations are very much interested in playing volleyball

@@johnwayne6112 Well sometimes things just donot go as planned or thought of. Japan underestimated Egypt and when they lost the third set they though they would come back but Egypt for some strange twist of fate performed better. That is only a one time thing and its over. Japan has got the qualifications covered. Secured a Silver Medal at the Olympics but is aiming for Gold.
