    Speaking as a Liverpool fan, King is up there as one of the most natural centre backs I've seen.
    I used to be in awe of the fact that he wouldn't train due to his knee but then be able to pocket the best attackers in the league effortlessly...

    2013 season, as a Spurs fan, remains my favourite season. Bale used to just win games on his own for us.

      Not to mention what he did to one of the world's best RBs at the time arguably the best RB that year. Put Maicon on toast and ate him for breakfast

    I can’t believe I witnessed Bale’s evolution and turning point in his career. It’s literally like -all of a sudden Livramento from Newcastle started to consistently score worldies/game winning goals, pushed upfront and made things look easy. For Bale to do that is almost rare and spontaneous to do in the premier league.

    Bale's arrival was two games in 4 days against Arsenal and Chelsea, scored in both 2-1 wins to set us up for champions league qualification. Also Danny Rose's breakthrough, a good week for 'Arry! Also the Arsenal game was the best atmosphere I've ever experienced

    Even before he made it big he was already being touted as the next big thing at Southampton. I remember when Utd were interested in and hoping we'd get him since he was a free kick specialist.

    • @itsallgood8347
      @itsallgood8347 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With all due respect, UTD could have killed his career. For quite a while, at Spurs, Bale was not producing much. He also had that near 30 game losing streak. UTD would have benched him, and had very little patience, let alone play him in an advanced position.

    • @mesicek7
      @mesicek7 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@itsallgood8347 What the hell are you talking about? This was back in 2007 and everything was agreed upon but Bale rejected Utd because he thought he wasn't gonna play a lot. Also ever heard of Beckham? He used to be a CM but was switched to RM which then became his position. Jesus

  • @Plibige
    @Plibige 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Ledley was unlucky in a lot of ways, obviously the injuries. But there were some world class defenders around the England team at his time. If he was around now and stayed fit he'd have got 100 caps

    Ledley king can only talk about one season in his time with Garth bale. Garth bale didn’t play in a game Tottenham won until his 3rd season and he only scored 3 more goals in his first 5 seasons than he scored in his sixth season and then he left for Madrid
