You have the reverse of the combo above. Still a soulmate combo, just not as powerful. Haven't heard that about retro VE anywhere. I don't think you have to worry :)

Birth time is not necessary for the first two techniques. A birth date will suffice.

Not necessarily. These are primarily Rashi combos. While they could work in the D9, I have not tested them there.
