I think back then there was no social media, seeing wild stuff was not normal. Now overloaded with everything, what was Xtreme is not any more 😢. I definitely owned and played them all starting with NES Skate or Die, California Games etc.

That is true back in the day all people had was video cameras and TV, that's how people become known, you were forced to got live skate events in person like the X Games for example. You are right now things are overloaded, everyone is just trying to top each other instead of just enjoying the sport, thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it 😁👍

'Realism' also took over all imagination and creativity in gaming. Even the upcoming Skate looks uninspired, all they know now is 'realism'. Notice how there's no attitude, style, creative 'game' stuff like power-ups etc? And the writing on the wall is these corporate "community engagement" exercises they keep doing, to hype people for a non-existent half-assed product. They know they have the community by the balls, because there's no other true competitor. It will have microtransactions, live service etc, published by EA. And the fanboys are even defending those things. It's insane.

It really does make sense as to why Tony Hawk left Activision, am sure they pitched their ideas to him and he said no. You are right, creativity is gone, now we have simulation skateboard/bmx games, the problem is, they lack everything that made the old games iconic, As I said in the video" there is nothing left" I really have no faith in most games anymore so many good genres have fell off because people don't know what they are doing, thank you so much for watching and commenting 😁👍
