Thank you so much for sharing this tip! It is revolutionary / such a game changer!!! I’ve used this method for the past two days after seeing this video (for 6th & 8th gr.) and it worked perfectly!😊👍📚
Brilliant!!!! I just got our 7th grade and 1st grade curriculum and have been pouring over the teacher guides and lesson plans. This helps so very much. Thank you!!!
I like the tab ideas. It can feel like you’re flipping forever to find things. Initially my kindergartener wasn’t able to handle the copy book so we are really behind on that. I figure we can work on that during the summer if we have to. Her fine motor skills have really improved as we have worked on writing.
This was our first year with MP, and as we near the end of our school year, I’m definitely in search for some “sanity savers”. I decided to purchase the Pre Kindergarten, and the First grade curriculum packages. I also have a now 18 month old that I was chasing around at the same time. Things were going great, but by about February, I started really feeling overwhelmed with our work load. I really want to stick with MP, and I’m hoping next year will be better. Trying not to get discouraged.
Take heart: February is notorious for bringing on burnout - even for teachers in brick and mortar schools! As you plan for next year, don’t be afraid to prioritize. First grade is a lovely year even if you don’t do every. single. thing. in the Curriculum Manual. Math, reading, and spelling are the most important things in that year. The Enrichment read-alouds would round things out beautifully and all the kids can join in to enjoy those. It makes a great opening for the school day. (You wouldn’t need the science read-alouds though. They’re icing, not a necessity.) Have you heard of MP’s Sodalitas Conference? If you can make it to Louisville this summer (or attend virtually!), I think it would give you so much encouragement for this next year. Here’s more info on Sodalitas: www.memoriapress.com/2022-sodalitas-homeschool-conference/
@@seekingdelectare I'm so sorry to hear this! And I know that it's tough to be sick when you have a large family. (I do too though only five are still at home.) Anyway, I will certainly be praying for you!

That helps a lot! Thank you!
I'm so glad it helped!
Very helpful! Everything you share on the MP forums is, too!
Thank you, Lisa - so glad it helped! I’m sorry I just saw this. I’ve been recovering from a concussion 🤕
