When I was training not even as an amateur MMA fighter, I'd be sparring and even wrestling/jiu-jitsu with guys 50-75lbs bigger and they wouldn't stand a chance against me. Also, aside from boxing, let’s consider more than just hands, how about kicks, knees, etc. Leg kicking a guy who’s never been leg kicked will almost certainly drop him, and knocking someone out from ground and pound shots is something that a much smaller guy can do to a larger one quite easily. In other words, don’t get too caught up with raw power because it’s one small factor in a KO.

One thing I've learned in boxing is that size really means nothing. If anything its a disadvantages making the bigger guys clumsy and slow. Throwing punches is all about technique, skill and aggression. When I boxed in the army at cruiser weight I had no problems sparring in my own division and heavyweight, but I hated sparring light heavies, middleweights and welterweights, it was very hard to land shots on them, their lighter weight gave them an edge with speed and agility. Punching downwards was also awkward and leaves the midsection wide open for body-shots.
Especially when you're juiced on gear like 'True' Geordie. Wonder what the correlation between his hair disappearing and his 300lb bloating is. Couldn't beat a Bellator fighter never mind a UFC fighter.

I happen to be a burns victim, I suffered 3rd degree burns when I was 19 months old from boiling water, so I found his comments disgustingly offensive. I’m now 54 years old so I’ve battled this kind of evil all my life, which is what probably motivated me to take up boxing and martial arts as a child. In fact I went on to become a world champion in both karate and kickboxing. He’s a disgraceful human being making comments about burns like that, I’ve carried my scars all of my life and people like him make that so much harder than it already is . Honestly, as someone who was a massive fan of Conor from his days at cage warriors, right through to winning the title from Aldo, you’re spot on Brian. I started to go off him once the inactivity began and he’s just gone from bad to worse. For all his good deeds and charitable donations, he goes and acts like a total ar*ehole in one way or another. Like you said, even his humour is no longer witty and well delivered. I also agree that he’s never going to be the same fighter again. He’s just ruining his legacy at this point. I don't necessarily disagree with most of this but I find it funny thinking about how quickly Geordie would stfu if he bumped into Mcgregor in the street. If Mcgregor knocks out Chandler in 2 minutes the hate will come again about how terrible Chandler is. All this talk comes from a guy who's intro video used to be him gasping for air, looking like he's just stepped out the shower and throwing the slowest punches of all time. He put that out there like it's a flex like "look how big and hard I am" but it was actually just embarrassing. One thing I've learned in boxing is that size really means nothing. If anything its a disadvantages making the bigger guys clumsy and slow. Throwing punches is all about technique, skill and aggression. When I boxed in the army at cruiser weight I had no problems sparring in my own division and heavyweight, but I hated sparring light heavies, middleweights and welterweights, it was very hard to land shots on them, their lighter weight gave them an edge with speed and agility. Punching downwards was also awkward and leaves the midsection wide open for body-shots.
Especially when you're juiced on gear like 'True' Geordie. Wonder what the correlation between his hair disappearing and his 300lb bloating is. Couldn't beat a Bellator fighter never mind a UFC fighter.

First of all I’d like to say how much I enjoy your channel. I find you honest and impartial, so keep up the good work. I’m adding this comment because I’ve just watched the above video and I’m absolutely disgusted and furious at mcgregors comments and insults. I happen to be a burns victim, I suffered 3rd degree burns when I was 19 months old from boiling water, so I found his comments disgustingly offensive. I’m now 54 years old so I’ve battled this kind of evil all my life, which is what probably motivated me to take up boxing and martial arts as a child. In fact I went on to become a world champion in both karate and kickboxing. He’s a disgraceful human being making comments about burns like that, I’ve carried my scars all of my life and people like him make that so much harder than it already is . Thank you for listening to my rant.
