I was with you until you started talking about fighting the guy. We all know you'd gas out in two minutes tops if you fought him, especially with your size and weight. After that you'd be nothing but dog food for him. The thing is, in those two minutes you might be able to push him around a little bit, catch him in a body lock or two, or even be able to slam him on the ground a few times, but we all know you sure as heck won't be able to knock him out, nor would you be able to submit him. So, all he would have to do is bide his time until you get tired and once you do you'd be pretty much in for a beat down. And even if you train a little bit in striking and jiu jitsu, we all know that's not going to help you against a professional fighter no matter how much smaller they are than you; plus as a novice once you're tired your technique goes out the window anyway. The only way I can see your size and strength helping you is in surviving the beat down and not getting stopped.

@@lordfarquard9902 I used to box as well and I share a lot of the same experiences with you, but when I say KO I don’t necessarily mean strict punching power, even though I most certainly believe that Conor has more raw power than this bloke, but other more technical factors that are much more important: timing, angles, speed of the shot, etc. There’s so many other factors that come into play when a KO is analyzed. Also, aside from boxing, let’s consider more than just hands, how about kicks, knees, etc. Leg kicking a guy who’s never been leg kicked will almost certainly drop him, and knocking someone out from ground and pound shots is something that a much smaller guy can do to a larger one quite easily. In other words, don’t get too caught up with raw power because it’s one small factor in a KO.

6:15 Nate weighs 170 on weigh-in day, and probably 20-30 lbs more on fight night. The difference being Nate is a 190lb triathlete with a gas tank who can wrestle and fight, you're just a big guy who lifts heavy things. You don't have the fighting experience, this wouldn't even be a close fight. It's okay to dream and fantasize but don't get it twisted, you would get hurt.

One thing I've learned in boxing is that size really means nothing. If anything its a disadvantages making the bigger guys clumsy and slow. Throwing punches is all about technique, skill and aggression. When I boxed in the army at cruiser weight I had no problems sparring in my own division and heavyweight, but I hated sparring light heavies, middleweights and welterweights, it was very hard to land shots on them, their lighter weight gave them an edge with speed and agility. Punching downwards was also awkward and leaves the midsection wide open for body-shots.
Especially when you're juiced on gear like 'True' Geordie. Wonder what the correlation between his hair disappearing and his 300lb bloating is. Couldn't beat a Bellator fighter never mind a UFC fighter.

I agree with what you’ve been saying about Conor, my buddies and I have been saying the same things, it’s sad to see. That being said, Conor is a professional fighter and would KO you spark out quite easily, regardless of how big you are or how strong you are.

He’d piece TG up, but knock him out, I give him less than 1% chance of that honestly.
@@lordfarquard9902 I used to box as well and I share a lot of the same experiences with you, but when I say KO I don’t necessarily mean strict punching power, even though I most certainly believe that Conor has more raw power than this bloke, but other more technical factors that are much more important: timing, angles, speed of the shot, etc. There’s so many other factors that come into play when a KO is analyzed. Also, aside from boxing, let’s consider more than just hands, how about kicks, knees, etc. Leg kicking a guy who’s never been leg kicked will almost certainly drop him, and knocking someone out from ground and pound shots is something that a much smaller guy can do to a larger one quite easily. In other words, don’t get too caught up with raw power because it’s one small factor in a KO.

6:15 Nate weighs 170 on weigh-in day, and probably 20-30 lbs more on fight night. The difference being Nate is a 190lb triathlete with a gas tank who can wrestle and fight, you're just a big guy who lifts heavy things. You don't have the fighting experience, this wouldn't even be a close fight. It's okay to dream and fantasize but don't get it twisted, you would get hurt.

One thing I've learned in boxing is that size really means nothing. If anything its a disadvantages making the bigger guys clumsy and slow. Throwing punches is all about technique, skill and aggression. When I boxed in the army at cruiser weight I had no problems sparring in my own division and heavyweight, but I hated sparring light heavies, middleweights and welterweights, it was very hard to land shots on them, their lighter weight gave them an edge with speed and agility. Punching downwards was also awkward and leaves the midsection wide open for body-shots.
Especially when you're juiced on gear like 'True' Geordie. Wonder what the correlation between his hair disappearing and his 300lb bloating is. Couldn't beat a Bellator fighter never mind a UFC fighter.
