I'm looking for a durable phone and I can't decide between these two because they both have more or less the specs that I need but need the real-life testing because the chinese manufacturers lie aaaaaall the time :/ (as you mentioned in the video with the "optical stabilization" here for example). I think not only me but many other people would very much appreciate some thorough comparison of these two phones including of course camera comparison (which camera is more useless haha), features comparison (what one phone can do and other can't), battery time, speaker loudness (if you have any way to record decibels), maybe the led flash brightness? (at least subjectively - which phone works better as flashlight), perhaps the outdoor features accuracy (like the sensors accuracy) etc... You know some kind of real life testing for outdoorers - we don't care that much the antutus and gaming performances, but we care about everything else :D But anyway thanks again for the review, you have a new subsriber (10k soon I see)

A shame really. I've heard there'll be an update for 4K recording video.Doogee's website advertises the phone has been capable of reaching 4K. Maybe we didn't get see the camera at its best? Btw the phone only comes with one speaker by default.

If you want battery life and durability K10000 MAX is better, but if you just want a waterproof gaming phone with good battery life then Doogee S60 is the right phone.
Smartphone Wars x2 doesnt work in NA correct. otherwise id vote for s60 over armor 2. wireless charging and bigger tougher screen, my armor 2 screen broke fairly easily. camera is also shit on armor 2. blurry and muddy. looks like vasoline on the lens. at least the stereo speakers work on armor 2. s60 has a mono speaker contrary to marketing.
I just dropped this phone and cracked the screen ..I’m from muscat and I got a bad response from the doogee team..I don’t think this a Best Buy for strong phones..doesn’t even have a service center around me ..any ideas on how to fix this screen?

I did some research lately and i came to the conclusion that i wouldn't go with none of them to be honest because i started to see many complaints about bugs,bad OS,weak speaker and more,after few days of usage. It's might be better to pick up the LG G5 for example which can also be in the same price tagg (today) and then to buy a good rugged cover for it which is also IP68.

Can this phone be hung on neck? Does it have a lanyard loop? I am deciding between this one and Oukitel K10000 Max. K10k is a big and unwieldy, but that's not going to be a problem if I can hang it on my neck. S60 is smaller and lighter, but it's going to sag my pocket or occupy one hand. ( Ulefone Armor 2 lacks the massive battery and I don't care about camera quality)

Giorgi Abramishvili Yes, for the price. I expected the battery will last longer but it's ok. Also the camera is not really good if you are into take photos, for me it's fine I don't use the camera, for everything else it is as the video shows.
+Venom Xcv I recommend getting a faster chip for PS2 emulator. You need SD820 at least. Look for LeEco LePro 3 or Mi5S /Plus. Can be bought around the same price. For me S60 is not a great phone.
Do you think that it's the use what the buyer are waiting from a rugged phone ? I'm an outdoor enthusiast, I've gone to a waterfall ( I've not even go inside a pool, just go under the fall with the doogee in my pant ) and the phone have not survive to this trip. The trouble with this model is that only the rubber trap make the usb port waterproof. if the rubber leaks, the water go strait inside your phone and it's game over !!! You can make the test, remove the sim trap and open the usb port rubber and blow inside it, the air will go out by the sim trap...... Some other brand & rugged phone provide an usb port waterproof itself, that way no problem if the rubber trap of the port leak !!! I've had previously one Ulefone Armor 1 and change for the Doogee because of better specifications, I now regret my decision... I now don't what rugged phone next : Ulefone Armor 2, AGM X2, Nomu T18, BlackView BV8000 Pro... Any advice ???
+emmanuel ferre Without the flaps it's not waterproof. Any phone is like that. That's why they don't have a headphone jack. My advice is go with AGM X2 it's the best there is, don't think anything else provides real water-resistance
I think AGM X1 would still be a better choice if only they upgraded it to Android 7...at least...in the 200€ something range that's the best rugged phone but is seriously crippled by an OS that is becoming way too outdated, especially considering security. One thing woth mentioning for this kind of phone if you are planning to use it as it's meant to be (outdoor activities and such) is that paired with blueetoth earbuds and a wireless charger is going to be the safest choice. All those water/dust proof rubber flaps over ports are always the weak point of these type of devices. With S60 you can virtually forget about those and go 100% wireless. Sure there is the AGM X2 unfortunately but is still on a different budget range.

Once you unscrew the back plate you have what apear to be two slots, but they are actually 3. On your left is the SD card slot and on the right are the two sim slots. One is located below the other(sim sensors are stacked). It's easy to install. Both are Nano-Sim
Which way should the card be oriented? For some reason when I took it to my local phone store, they couldn't figure it out either. They were coming in with the card from the right side (with the phone face down) and had the pins facing the left I believe.

I whish I had never bought this phone. It has serious design flaws. The buttons are way to easy to push and you are constantly turning it down or taking pictures. That would be enough to drive anyone crazy but it gets better. Because of being waterproof the charging port is deep inside the phone and over a very small time the inside gets loose and your charging cord will literally fall out and I've found the only way to charge my cell is using a wooden toothpick for pressure on the back. Totally unacceptable for a phone of this price. Weather its Android or Doogee at fault for this charging port. It leaves a bunch to be desired. And I will never buy another Doogee again. For those of you that are thinking of buying one or something like this. Just FYI.
And one More thing one of my friend fill down my phone when I pick my phone same time I cannot open my phone bcoz of manufacturer defect from inside so plz don't waste your money

Giorgi Abramishvili Yes, for the price. I expected the battery will last longer but it's ok. Also the camera is not really good if you are into take photos, for me it's fine I don't use the camera, for everything else it is as the video shows.

+Venom Xcv I recommend getting a faster chip for PS2 emulator. You need SD820 at least. Look for LeEco LePro 3 or Mi5S /Plus. Can be bought around the same price. For me S60 is not a great phone.

Do you think that it's the use what the buyer are waiting from a rugged phone ? I'm an outdoor enthusiast, I've gone to a waterfall ( I've not even go inside a pool, just go under the fall with the doogee in my pant ) and the phone have not survive to this trip. The trouble with this model is that only the rubber trap make the usb port waterproof. if the rubber leaks, the water go strait inside your phone and it's game over !!!
You can make the test, remove the sim trap and open the usb port rubber and blow inside it, the air will go out by the sim trap......
Some other brand & rugged phone provide an usb port waterproof itself, that way no problem if the rubber trap of the port leak !!!
I've had previously one Ulefone Armor 1 and change for the Doogee because of better specifications, I now regret my decision...
I now don't what rugged phone next : Ulefone Armor 2, AGM X2, Nomu T18, BlackView BV8000 Pro...

+emmanuel ferre Without the flaps it's not waterproof. Any phone is like that. That's why they don't have a headphone jack. My advice is go with AGM X2 it's the best there is, don't think anything else provides real water-resistance
Nomu S30 has waterproofing on jack and Usb as well as rubber flaps.
Cat S61 would be my choice.
I think AGM X1 would still be a better choice if only they upgraded it to Android 7...at least...in the 200€ something range that's the best rugged phone but is seriously crippled by an OS that is becoming way too outdated, especially considering security.
One thing woth mentioning for this kind of phone if you are planning to use it as it's meant to be (outdoor activities and such) is that paired with blueetoth earbuds and a wireless charger is going to be the safest choice. All those water/dust proof rubber flaps over ports are always the weak point of these type of devices. With S60 you can virtually forget about those and go 100% wireless. Sure there is the AGM X2 unfortunately but is still on a different budget range.

maybe its the firmware you have because my doogee s60 definitely has ois and does well under lower light. what it does not have is stereo speakers.
I had 3 updatea, did a factory reset and it's still terrible ;)

Anyone have sim card problems with this phone? I wish I could find a detailed video describing how to install a sim card correctly.
Once you unscrew the back plate you have what apear to be two slots, but they are actually 3. On your left is the SD card slot and on the right are the two sim slots. One is located below the other(sim sensors are stacked). It's easy to install. Both are Nano-Sim
Which way should the card be oriented? For some reason when I took it to my local phone store, they couldn't figure it out either. They were coming in with the card from the right side (with the phone face down) and had the pins facing the left I believe.

I whish I had never bought this phone.
It has serious design flaws.
The buttons are way to easy to push and you are constantly turning it down or taking pictures.
That would be enough to drive anyone crazy but it gets better.
Because of being waterproof the charging port is deep inside the phone and over a very small time the inside gets loose and your charging cord will literally fall out and I've found the only way to charge my cell is using a wooden toothpick for pressure on the back.
Totally unacceptable for a phone of this price.
Weather its Android or Doogee at fault for this charging port. It leaves a bunch to be desired.
And I will never buy another Doogee again.
For those of you that are thinking of buying one or something like this.
