Thank you. The men in described in that battle were well trained, armored, and armed. They were assembled from the survivors of Lake Town and all the villages of men all around Long Lake. They were Not a band of ill armed, unarmored, untrained, peasants. Unlike in the movie the battle was on ground below the gates of Erebor and below the heights were Dale was situated.
Just have to say, as someone who has a busy schedule , your videos help me relax, and I appreciate your effort in every video and encourage you to keep on doing what your doing!
I love the dark comedy at 40:18 "They cant do anything their gonna die" and as you say that the trolls charge in and just before you see them hit the crossbows you move the camera away. I dunno that just played out so perfectly it made me chuckle.

In the Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, the fact that the Orc Army didn't have any WOLVES OR WARGS in the main bulk of their army kinda dissuaded me from the Movie....
For your information I see no Wargs in the movie and they cut of the part where the Elves and Dwarves fight so yeah :( It just seems to Ruin the Epic Feel the moment you added Wargs to the intro Epic Intro BTW PA :D
I just wanted to mention that Wood Elves did eat meat. The High Elves, and the Elves of Lorien did not, as they were more cultured and civilized. If you wanted a party, go to the Wood Elves, they drink and feast like no tomorrow.
it is stated in the books that feanor's sons were hunters, so that isn't entirely true either. in truth only the elves of ossiriand are some what specified to be vegetarians

No one did any work on isengaurd, did they? Isengaurd is very much reduced in there position of power. You should do some final work on isengaurd. You must!!!
At the 46:40 mins mark we had a CRITICAL BATTLE POINT! Sending in the small eleven unit to help Thorin and the dwarves was decisive. They shifted the balance of power just enough to kill Azog. without the elven reinforcements on the mountain the battle would have continued at least 5 mins and maybe Bard would have fallen. Well played PA
When I saw the dwarves riding on the goats and I thought “it must be their war beats” and I my respect for the dwarves has been greatly increased since then.

I think that's simply because the Hobbit was written before Tolkien's mythology had been solidified in his own mind.
the dwarves almost never use ponies, and never in battle, they march to war on their own feet.
