They missed the adidas comercial where he gave a sneak peak at the KobeTWO where he lifted a box and u saw a glimpse of it for a split second..i remember that prototype looked crazy! And got me hype for the kobetwo..it looked a little different than when it actually came out. Someone find that commercial!
i bought it in the Philippines at the mall.. i was 15 years old I had 5k pesos ($125) in 1999.. they were kinda shock because they dont sell those shoes on a daily like they do in the states..

These were really memorable commercials. I still believe most of them over all these years. I remember Kobe saying he didn’t like the image adidas created with these. Which i understand. But honestly, I loved them as a fan. Mamba forever!

I remember that first Kobe commercial in 96’ me and my brother was in backyard on our dirt basketball court mocking it. I was 7 years old 😂. I became a D1 power 5 college football player but Kobe was my childhood favorite athlete as a kid.
The Kobe that I was a fan of.. that over the shoulder ball drop. I tried doing it once in a game.. some kid got confused and said I was "palming."
As kid I practiced my dribbling around the house and supermarkets because that commercial lolz

There was another commercial for the Adidas Kobe Two, some extra dunks with him in the warmup pants... One of the dunks was a beastly reverse pump with his legs spread...

Can't find the commercial where he "introduced the KobeTWO prototype" while he talked about having his own shoe. I remember that gave you a sneak peak of what the kobetwo was gonna look like but they showed it for a split second. I remember it looking soo crazy and bullet-like. They showed it a few times during the 2001 lakers/76ers finals . But can't find it anywherw. I remember the prototype looking almost nothing like the actual shoe that came out

The Adidas Kobe line is surprisingly good if you see them in a row. Imagine adidas using the more vibrant colors Nike is known to use and you would've had a heck of a shoe line.
I was a kid when Kobe first arrived in the NBA, and I swear I used to envision myself wearing what he had on in the elevation eat shoes and in that same kind of court, but I swear, this March 10, 2024 is the first time I see this commercial. I was extremely poor so I couldn't afford it, but WOW, I can't believe this existed. I also thought the KB8 shoes were the first Kobe shoes.

YES! That's the one where he's like, "Imma give y'all a sneak preview" and then he lifts up the box and it's some Kobe 2's with like a forest green colorway. I remembered seeing that commercial and thinking they looked dope as hell. Then they never released them in that color. It was like a dark green right...or am I remembering wrong?
I remember that prototype shoe looked even crazier than what they actually came out looking like but i can't find that commercial anywhere and I've been looking for it for over 15 years! Anyone got a link?

Ikr!? I've been searching for a few of them on eBay and GOAT, and the prices be high af. I went on GOAT to buy the adidas Crazy 8 "1998 All Star Game" and there was 1 pair in my size that wasn't overpriced.
