Daniel Qihuai Ng nope the seat are different because last week I from kl to ipoh using gold the door and the seat are completely different but not to much
Perhaps you boarded different trainsets, Class 91 and Class 93. KTMB doesn't care about which sets they use for the Silver, Gold or Platinum, but generally, Class 91 is for Ipoh - KL route. Sometimes they will mix if there are shortage of sets. See my other ETS video, the ride back to Sungai Petani. Gold service, a Class 93 also, same seats as this one.
Daniel Qihuai Ng seat number boleh suka2 ke or fix or coach lain kosong kita boleh duduk jer? Saya langsung tak pernah naik train..soon nak try KL to sg petani..tq an advance..
wish there were many lines like this around malaysia..hit 180km per hour on standard gauge pun cukup...connect every major city and town...NO MORE TRAFFIC JAMS !!!!
See that's the problem, Ktm uses the metre gauge and not standard gauge (btw the ETS is the fastest train on metre gauge in the world). And with the current economic situation, it is impossible to change the network to standard gauge. That being said, if, KTM can get enough money to buy 100 units of SCS Komuter set, it's not impossible to get your wish come true, even in the metre gauge.
@@DanielQihuaiNg When you want to do something do it right. KTM should have left the previous meter gauge for the lucrative goods services. New standard gauge lines should been laid and rolling stock bought or modified for these new standard gauge tracks for passenger traffic. What has been down now is a half measure..with Gemas JB and KB no where in sight. Sure passenger trains are a loosing concern. But they open up new areas for the development of satellite towns which in turn brings a better quality of life. Its all down to financial modelling and stretching the ringgit. The British left KTM with 999 land leases. Poor operational management and financial skills has wiped out KTM. Sad. The new govt should apooint a sound finance guy as KTM's new CEO. ...not necessarily Wharton trained
@@reubensher8144 if they did leave the metre gauge behind there would be no more KTM left, the financial strain would have killed it. All rolling stocks would have to be refurbished/scrapped due to the gauge change. No interconnectivity with SRT would have robbed KTM of the lucrative Landbridge freight service. The narrow gauge is not necessarily a handicap. If well-managed, it won't be. The Japanese has been running most of their trains on the 1067mm gauge. I agree with you, poor management doomed KTM. That being said, the government did try jump-starting the gauge change in the national rail network by proposing the ECRL. Politics killed that project as you well know.
@@DanielQihuaiNg The length and breath of the country is hardly 800km by 300km.We need passenger trains that run at about 180 to 200km/ hr. The EMUs are good enough.
