Blaney proved that it doesn't matter how many ups and downs you have during the regular season all that matters is getting hot at the right time. In the last 6 races he had an average finish of 4.0 great job by the entire 12 team and very well deserved championship

A few weeks later and sometimes I still can’t believe my driver won the title! Been a lot to ups and downs and a fan of his since his rookie season and it was so damn awesome to see him pull it off!
Blaney is very deserving of this title after my driver didn't make the playoffs!

Keep in mind Ryan Blaney had only 8 Top 5s Throughout the entire 2023 Season. Half of which Came in the Final 6 races of the season That saw 2 Wins at Talladega & Martinsville in which would earn him his first ever Championship 4 appearance at Phoenix where he would finish 2nd in route to his first Championship
Keep in mind under the current system, they only have to take it to the finals, and then unleash some kick *ss.
Ahh yes. I remember when Tony Stewart only had 3 top 5s going into the 2011 Chase for the Sprint Cup and finished the season with 9 and won the Championship on a tiebreaker. But that title isn’t discounted like Blaney’s will be, because it’s Smoke who drove a Chevrolet.
