This should’ve performed better at the box office.
Its really a shame... man this was a wonderfull movie
Yeah now we won't see anymore mad Max movies
@@DhilipNexusNot true. Miller said Mad Max: Wasteland is still in the works.
@@thedude1878 for real ???
@thedude1878 it probably won't get greenlit by the studios
Chris played Dementus PERFECTLY
Yes! He Was epic
This was one of the most amazing movies I've seen in a long time. It is 100% a theater movie and deserves to be viewed on the big screen
It really is, I was literally shaking in my seat from the rumble of the engines
I disagree..... It would be better as a 6 episode mini series
Where can I download it
I really enjoyed it. Much better the the first one in my opinion
Totally!, after a long time
Fury Road and Furiosa are two sides of a timeless and priceless coin. One has great adrenaline fueled action and the other has a great story about vengeance
@@abnrmlgmr64 i think they enhance eachother. Im happy they both exist.
Watching this movie in Dolby Cinema was a pure magic.
Sound design was incredible.
I drove over an hour to watch it in IMAX and the screen was awesome but the seats were meh. Wish I would have gone with the Dolby experience.
❤
Probably the best movie I've watched all year...
Watch Poor Things
@@Gavin48 that was last year
@@KilluaZoldyck-ij6lt I'm going by UK release date
Movie was awesome. Anya and Chris played their parts very well!
no it was a flop
@@gamesworld1309 Doesn’t matter. It was still an awesome flick to me and lots of other people!
@@gamesworld1309 there are movies that flop in the theatres and then do really well on the streaming platforms. This is a candidate for that imho.
@@gamesworld1309Still great
Movie name
This movie is a masterpiece.
Aside from Fury Road.
@@seanpatrickcain2 Also a masterpiece.
an overused word that has lost its meaning because people like you use it lightly
This movie is far from masterpiece.. Fury Road can be called a masterpiece in some way, but Furiosa is just mid
@@MrGLDEN it isn't even mid.
I feel privileged to have watched Dune Part 2 and Furiosa on IMAX, multiple times this year. Thanks Villeneuve and Miller. Cinema exists for movies like yours.
people complain that “they don’t make real movies anymore” and then when one comes out like 42 people went and saw it
those of us that did know just how amazing it was. my hope is that Warner Bros allows Miller to make the next Mad Max movie he’s writing. i’ve heard that Australia payed for like half the budget of Furiosa so hopefully that makes the box office profit a little better looking and we get The Wasteland
Te atestiguo
People like me wanted Fury Road 2 with Tom Hardy..
@@dbreiden83080 That's what the Wasteland is though...
while i don’t care to watch this movie, it is funny that the people that express that view in my life only ever go and see the latest disney produced movie. At that point you don’t even care enough about movies and only care about high production value. Their interests are too narrow for them to even have that opinion. This movie is high budget of course I’m just throwing out that observation.
Covid and tik tok killed movie theaters
I love all the details in the world building, like all the tactics they've developed for wasteland survival and warfare. The raiders pulling the tire to kick up sand and obscure vision against snipers. People using the sand dunes to break line of sight and gain advantage. All the ways they use scavenged material to build devices for vehicle combat. A lot of thought and creativity was put into how this world works.
yeah there is so much detail in that world, every time you re-watch it you see something new, like how everyone in the green place wears a whistle on a necklace or how one of the bikes has a sock for an air filter.
Mary Jabassa is such a badass.
She was only in the movie for ten minutes but Charlee Fraser made every second count. Loved her character
She reminds me of the indomitable human spirit meme but of a mother with full on adrenaline after her child gets abducted by aliens
But her horrible death really shocked me to tears!
This is fkn masterpiece.... visionary piece of work. The opening sequence itself is enough to guarantee its place in history of cinema. Those who didnt watch it have no idea what they missed ...
My 2nd favorite movie of the year after Dune: Part Two.
Facts!
Furiosa movie was absolutely incredible, one of the best I have seen in a long time. The story, action, music all top notch, the cinematography was superb, beautifully shot, with various times of day, the night shots were a stand out. Chris Hemsworth absolutely stole the show as Dementus. George Miller is truly a visionary director and legend. 👏
I wish we could see even more Mad Max movies coming out. A film should not be exclusively measured by box office performance, but by critics, by the importance of its work and authors. We see that this is the case with Furiosa, I hope this doesn't imply the shelving of future George Miller films on this theme, because it's a type of direction and world creation that we don't often see out there and adds a lot to the history of the action movies. These cuts and framing are very clean and keep you centered, in fact it's almost like each frame is a painting.
Miller is a passionate visionary that's helped revolutionise the action genre and we always need more of that.
It’s a sad reality, a delicate balance of striking a chord with the audience and being profitable. Movie was a 10/10 for me.
So true
Since the beginning this movie asks philosophical question and starts with absolutely suspenseful chase scene. Incredible.
A lot of the costumes in the Mad Max films are fantastic but that one guy's skull mask is absolutely top-tier.
That's your mainboy VULTURE
Best movie of the year. What a masterpiece, cant wait to have this in blu ray in my collection. Waiting for Miller to do The Wastelands🔥🔥. But Furiosa is a 10/10. Hands down to the Master Miller
Its even better the second time you watch it
Need to go see this one more time. It's down to only one showtime a day at my theater. Worth seeing more than once!
100%. You can certainly miss nuances and details first time that gets cleared in your mind on a second viewing.
A perfect blend of beauty and cruelty. Every shot is truly mesmerizing and immersive. What a piece of art
Show of hands. Who among us saw this awesome flick in the theater, and is worthy of being called a Mad Max fan?
Saw it twice and displayed 3 of my vehicles in the Imax theatre to boot! Great addition to the franchise.
I was happy to witness Furiosa on the big screen.
@@AntiganosThat’s awesome! What was on display?
@MisterListopher My 79 Firebird (yellow spider on hood) and two motorcycles! I know somebodies posted it on TH-cam and you can probably find it by searching "BassetPlace Mad Max"! Or just watching for them in any of the Wasteland Weekend videos.
@MisterListopher My 79 Firebird and motorcycle plus my buddy's bike too. "BassetPlace Mad Max" should bring them up on YT I think!
watched twice in IMax
Furiosa was dope, glad I went
TH-cam influencers who didn’t watch the movie absolutely killed this in the box office. The movie is AMAZING.
I wish more people would have seen this.
And this is coming from a person who had absolutely no desire to watch this movie. I was just bored and wanted to catch something in IMAX and my only option was this. Man was I blown away. I was the only person in the IMAX and I couldnt stop thinking how could this flop so hard? Non stop from start to finish and it was just a blast.
Tom Burke was absolutely amazing in this!
Great character
His character was a surprise! I actually rooted for him
I watched this at the cinema. Action sequences are big and clear. What an amazing movie.
The way he keeps action and focal points mid frame during cuts makes the action so easy on the eyes. Its phenomenal. You can just kind of relax your eyes and get blown away.
THIS ON IMAX IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
Greatest theater experience in my life!! What a movie!! George Miller you are the best!!
I love how everyone who lives in the green place wears blue clothes and everyone has their own whistle, its a neat little detail
we’ve gotten some amazing films in recent years. Dune Parts 1&2, Furiosa, Godzilla Minus One, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Civil War, etc.
those are only the BIG ones. we’ve gotten so many amazing mid budget ones as well (Civil War is mid budget as well) like American Fiction
It's so true! We are finally entering into a new exciting time for cinema, and I for one am super excited for more!
But nothing beats THIS film! Furiosa is my new favourite movie, the best movie I'ver ever seen!
Who else seen it on IMAX? This was EPIC!!!!
Saw this in IMAX and it was an experience 🔥
I found this opening scene so beautiful
It gives the audience some time to relax and buckle up for the wild ride ahead 🙌🏻😎🔥
Great movie ,hopefully we ‘ll get Mad max the wasteland and another Mad Max game
Love seeing the Green Place. Fantastic movie I really liked Furiosa! Hopefully we get "The Wasteland" next too. I'm 100% getting Furiosa on blu ray as well!!!
This movie was a masterpiece and deserves ALL of the awards.
This movie didn't deserve to fail at the box office
I feel bad it didn’t do well at the box office, I really liked this movie
Thank You George Miller 👍 watched it twice in IMAX & again on regular Big screen. Going to keep watching while it's still playing in theaters 🎥 here in AZ. Tremendous story telling & action
Great movie.
This is the best movie I've ever seen - and the death of Mary, Furiosas Mother, shocked me like nothing else I ever saw on a screen! I really was in tears. Please, George Miller, make another Mad Max" movie, please make "Wasteland"!!!!! You're a genius!!!
The people who watch this on digital will never understand how awesome the Thunderbike engine sounds are...
This movie not splashing at the box office is a crime. I believe the opening weekend was worse than Morbius? This film absolutely slapped and if we get even a single other Mad Max movie out of George Miller I will thank my lucky stars
Brilliant scene. Add this to the list of classic opening scene heists with Drive, Heat and Dark Knight.
George Miller is one of the great directors of our time . He is able to put the depth of myth and Odyssey into the most eye catching action movies ever made . Buster Keaton and Sergei Eisenstein would have been proud .
Let's hope through streaming , rentals and dvd sales Furiosa recoups enough $$$ so that Wasteland can be Miller's pièce de resistance .
Honestly even if this movie definitely has flaws, mainly pacing and noticeable CGI (especially compared to Fury Road, but still decent to me comparded to curent Disney/Marvel garbage), it deserve to perform better in theaters. Hopefully streaming access helps it so that Miller can do his last Mad Max (probably his last movie too so please warner give him that)
Great Movie. The sounds, soundtrack, visuals, mad vehicles and acting from everyone was top notch again. So glad i got to see it at the cinema. I really hope Miller gets to complete his Wasteland Trilogy.
0:19 these voiceovers will haunt me for life 💀
I love this movie so much! Such a masterpiece♥️ Love from Korea🇰🇷
This movie was absolutely fantastic. One of the more unique blockbusters of the 21st century. I am very sad that it didn't hit the box office. Wish we could have more Mad Max films, but Furiosa was the final journey it seems...
Where are you going with so much hope
that wasn’t hope, it was instinct
Masterpiece ❤
I absolutely loved the sound of motor engines in this movie
Wonderful opening scene and chase. It's no big spectacle but interesting and thrilling. I like how it takes it's time
I found myself cheering for both parties somehow. The badguys seem just some dudes trying to survive and return home.
Saw it twice on the big screen and will be buying the black and chrome edition! Great job cast and crew!
This movie is a masterpiece!!!
This movie & Mad Max world is love of my life
One of the best movie I have seen in a long time ( me and my boyfriend go to movie theater at least 2 - 3 times a month). This movie deserves more attention
MASTERPIECE
Want mad max sequels
Hope the madness continues
It’s still playing at Bromley Picturehouse if anyone is interested
Not interested. Where’s the Road Warrior playing at?
definitely a must watch looks great every scene i watched
Post Apocalypse is crazy
Out of al the locations in the movie, the Green place is easily the most civilized. The trees, the homes, the rivers, the decently dressed people. The friggin solar panels on the homes!
Really enjoyed this movie story was great.
I liked mad max fury Road too.
Hopefully there is one more?
Ellen Ripley. Sarah Connor. Furiosa. Strong female characters need not be badly written.
What a movie it was what hurts the most is it failed at box office
Chris Hemsworth should win an Oscar for his performance. Best work I've ever seen him do. Great job playing Dementis
Wait till next year
Why has this film flopped!? It’s amazing, it’s a film masterpiece.
So we now know the Green Place is in central Australia and to the West of it are Mountains beyond which is where the Citadel is located. My best guess is the Citadel is at the Western end of the Macdonnell range. Bullet town is an open cut mine to the north. The green place is the Trephina Gouge National Park. Alice Springs would be in the middle of the Citadel and Green Place. Gas town is pure fiction as Australia oil reserves are either coastal or off shore.
Great movie, awesome world building, grimier and bleaker than the originals.
i love this film so much!!! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN BIG AT THE BOX OFFICE!!!
Best action movie of the year
This movie was great. A must see for anyone into metal artwork aswell.
Best movie of the year
The sound is incredible
I watched it on imax and 4dx ... I cant wait for the next one, go off Miller 🔥
Time passed like a minute ❤
An excellent movie. Looks great on imax
Not seen it yet, but i knew its going to be a great one.
We really should separate gross earnings from how a great film is even though both matters.
Same thing yhsg happened with MI: dead reckoning
I loved furiosa
Best action movie in a decade , sound work was brilliant.crying shame this didn't do well in box office rather a sloppy dune 2 did done well
Brilliant movie
Super entertaining movie. George Miller is a visionary
true? that he created Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in the PS5 game Wow!!
Awesome movie. Epic actually
Nathan Jones seemed sad on his personal fb for the lack of support this movie got initially.
This was the best movie of the year, why it got flopped ???
3:51 that shot is phenomenal in theatre, i knew this movie going to be insane….so underrated af, marketing team fail this movie 😢

Our first look at what everything looks like in mad max
I'm honestly baffled there's still oceans. I thought Fury Road implied that they'd all dried up, I guess not though.
@@The12thDimension. maybe not dried up but perhaps lost some volume you know. Lowered sea levels
The movie was amazing
スクロータスとリクタス好きだわ
Such a great Movie! Would love to see more from this movie universe
Brilliant movie enjoyed it very much 🥳
Masterpiece. Seen it 4 times on the big screen.
Some shots have altered or deleted in this clip, but it's a stunning opening anyway.
That’s the thunder bike!
Nice one
