0 to 5 mph ticket? Are you serious? They really give people tickets for 2 miles over the speed limit. I would be livid. And the guy who gave you that ticket. That’s just called being a shitty person.
Yes. I was in a driving school after getting a ticket and a guy was there that got 1 mph over the speed limit. Virginia, US can be one of the best place to stack up in speeding tickets.
One recommendation I can give in GA is to go talk to the solicitor/prosecutor on the court date they give you. Sometimes you can talk them into changing it to a non-moving violation on court records if you pay the ticket. I know of a few friends who were able to keep tickets off of their MVR file this way. I may or may not have done this myself. 😀
