Three things that fetch the country that honour are efficient waste management, getting rid of ash and smoke, and heavy fines imposed on whoever throws garbage on the road, up to an equivalent of 1,574.40 pounds. That is why we put cleanliness first among the reasons anyone might want to consider moving to Singapore.
2. Great Public Transport
You may want to consider moving to Singapore if you pay attention to its great public transport. This is one of the benefits of living in Singapore for expats. Singapore has one of the most efficient public transportation systems in the world. There is, for example, an EZ-Link card making travelling to and from any destination within the country all too easy and convenient. Therefore, commuting to work or even a neighbouring town is not a big deal in this country. Singapore is one country you may not be held in traffic for years, thanks to its efficient transport system. In addition, the convenience of using public transport to Singapore’s strategic location in Southeast Asia means that it is the perfect hub for travelling to neighbouring countries. There are plenty and incessant great airfare deals and cheap holiday packages.
3. Green Spaces
You know Singapore is one of the world’s smallest countries. So it is doing its best to ensure that there are plenty of green spaces for its citizens and residents to enjoy. Natural areas constitute some 40 per cent of Singapore's land area. This green space has been set aside as nature reserves, parks, and gardens. This is incredible for its size. The small and intense urbanization going on in different parts of the world does not favour what Singapore is trying to achieve. Expensive country
Yes, we are indeed expensive. But as one tourist TH-camr explains it concisely: "Singapore is expensive because of her wealth"
If you live frugally -- as in minimizing all expenditure on non-essentials -- you can still get by on a low budget.
One way to REALLY reduce your spending is not to buy a car. Cars are extremely expensive to buy and keep here. You won't really need one here anyway, given the great public transport.

Don’t move here it’s overpopulated
There are too many foreigners here, especially pmets. New PRs, new citizens. A hub for the rich and a springboard for foreign talents to work, get international specialised education, work experience, and high salary, then migrate to the Western countries, etc.
@@choonhockong8215i'll be more worried if none uses us as springboard and too many stay on as new citizens. It's about maintaining a delicate balance so that we avoid the extremes of overpopulation stressing the infrastructure, or too few new citizens leading to rapid decline in population size
