It was seeing all of you on the bike that put the icing on the cake. Some ingenious ideas on the bike. Agree about the light high/low indicator and the battery protecter to stop the chamber getting wet when you are charging the battery indoors. A bit on the heavy side for appartment building stairs and probably too big for the lifts, but this applies to most cargo bikes. Loved the video. How practical for the likes of local deliveries or the local postperson. Keep up the good work
Nice Cargo E-Bike. Id be interested to see you talking to Cargo Ebike Owners to see how they manage with storing and Insuring their bike as these dont come cheap and are also costly to insure. Most apartment's in Dublin don't have very secure facilities for Bikes like this, so id suspect its mostly house owners with access to a garage or secure shed would use these. I recently bought a GoCycle GX from GreenAer and i wasnt out of breath cycling it but then i cycle a road bike regularly up to 60km on spins on a Sunday. I went for the GoCycle as it fits easily into my Kona EV boot. I also like to take a cycle along the Coast and can bring it back on the Dart having Cycled from Raheny to Killiney.
Is it possible to lock the bike with the phone app? I have checked that the Bosh CX system can do it, but I have not seen this feature mentioned in any RM manual.
If you get the Bosch Connect module, which is an additional cost, then the phone can be used to lock the bike. I ordered it for my Multitinker and am getting it installed in a few days.
looks like a great bike, but where the heck do you lock the frame via U-lock? it looks like there is plastic covering all the holes. basically everywhere on the tern GSD is a locking point. i would love to consider the multitinker but the lockability seems lacking. in practice it looks like you might have to maneuver around to lock it up. or am i missing something? any experience with locking in practice?
3:50 that fiddle to just turn it off.. purion was simple. Click the power button, it's off. Purion was perfect. Just enough info, and no more. KISS principle.
Very good review, it's a great bike. I'm on a Yuba Fastrack now (1st in the country I believe) - you may want to see about getting a review of it (200kg load carrying capacity including the 'driver') with a slightly better price (albeit on a Shimano motor which supposedly isn't as good - although I've noticed it has great torque, even with the kid in a child seat on the back). It also has a rain cover option for the kids, etc. Plus it also stands on its tail like the Tern models. As you point out, I personally think the 25km/hr speed is a bit slow? I'd be happier with 30km/hr but perhaps that's just me coming off of a road bike :)
Great review and yes I did go out and buy one very pleased with it thank you
Great to hear!

I love the idea of the internal hand rail on the back to save fingers. I like it
Thanks John. I should have said hands and paws

Thanks Stephen, interviews with owners is a great idea thanks.
For sure I am unfit for that GoCycle 🤣

Thanks for the question Edgar. Let me check with the team at GreenAer.

I asked Joe in GreenAer the same question!

Love the comprehensive reply Neal. I need to get my eyes on that Yuba.
Wassup Derek! No coast to coast with Darwin on that yoke?🤔😂
Guess it would be good for a bit of shopping, kiddie school run or scoot round the park?
Exactly DJ. A coast to coast would be "fun*
At the beginning of the review can you please please say what the bike will do on a full charge & what the bike retails at, thank you Derek
Ah Tom, what about my watch time 😉
You didn’t mention the price?? I like the look of the Tern GSD R14, but it is over £8,000 😮
He mentions it at 6:10.
You might want to check out the Yuba Fastrack...... 200kg total load carrying capacity and on sale in Ireland now.
Thanks for the comment Clive and for saving my panic Neal re the price inclusion!
Clive, don't forget the Irish €3,000 cargo bike grant also to help with the price....
👏💯👍
Glad you enjoyed it
You lost me at six grand
But but your name, and it's name. I was sure it was a match in heaven
