Hololive's audience is a bunch of hags too, so it's natural that Hololive's older talents would do well. The other thing to consider is that everyone's 5+ years older than when this whole thing started picking up steam. The talents and the audience have sort of grown up together, many of them through the very formative mid twenties. It's going to be interesting to see what happens going forward; I suspect that quite a few of these talents will keep going for a long time, and their fans with them, and the next generation of vtubers will have their own generation of fans - same as bands.

The only JP Vtuber's talent that can surpass Goddess kizuna ai, the only JP vtuber's who reach 3M subs.. and now she will reach 4M subs, 2nd place in the world after gura.. look at her music project with insane quality, how she can manage all of it gather the people's she need, and lead em to the ending she want.. how she can manage the income and outcome her money goes, not only just throw it.. but she also contribute on her own project, even in live perform she did she was the producers of her own show.. she was a one of multitalent on hololive, that's why when hololive cast for the gen 3 marine audition only take a sec and everything was so smooth.. and Mio was one of talent who sees marine audition back then, of course only an idiot who didn't take a Gold like her. and me who only know backthen, the time when i really fall in love with K-on and my internet lead me into her stream, as a VA too that also can imitate so many anime characters even she make a video of 50 imitate anime character's, doing Artist illust and former mangaka.. that's why she know Rurudo (Towa Mama) close as rurudo side kick, Ui, And other's artist, even have an album of a member Vocaloid singer, until she debut as mangaka vtuber and debut as marine.. and here i am, the more i watch her story, and i watch her hardwork backthen until now.. when actually i hate vtuber backthen, and i notice this person.. the more i proud of her to call her as one and only oshi.. because of her i know hololive, i know other's vtuber's, and falling love to support all of em, but this person was different case.. i really proud of her.
For the more senior (in age) members, Hololive would most likely be their job until retirement, which is kind of reassuring since most of the Holomems that I follow are them. Luna also said the same thing about never leaving since Hololive saved her and she can continue doing what she wants in Hololive.
I doubt it. None of them are nearly old enough to consider retirement anytime soon, and the odds of them working in the same job as an idol vtuber for like 20-30+ years are astronomically low. I'm sure many of them will stay around for awhile, but don't be naive and think they won't move on to something else eventually.

They'll just change agency or manager every now and then, scale back their activities as they get older, and focus on a smaller number of more significant projects.

At least if we begin from 2017-2018, 7 years isn't enough to gauge where the lines end for people of different ages. Again, remember that in this sort of showbusiness, the virtual avatars and their age, are never truly tarnished. This removes one of the more cutthroat factors of idolhood - physical aesthetics and age. The only thing that will affect them is their physical capability, which will reasonably last them till however long they stay healthy and fit. Vtuber actresses will one day expire, but that time is definitely not now. What we're seeing is simply those who cannot keep up with the corporate working pace, and have decided to part ways. Please bear in mind this isn't even wrong in the slightest, in good or bad times, people will leave jobs for their own reasons, and some will go on till actual retirement - both will have rightfully farmed what they needed from hololive as they exit. Like in any corporate job, you don't get to take assets with you, but you will take any intangible asset like networking and clout with you. In the real world, those are worth way more than IP.

To be fair, Marine's always had a kind of self-deprecation view on herself, so she's a lot harsher on herself and her worth. It's kinda easy to brush it off after what, 4-5 years now? She's proven her worth to everyone else.
