Seriously Mr. Valmont, I love this game, really, but the 80% of these magic is 'cause you made fabulous music that calm my anger in every restart. I love your amazing work.
The thing about rogue-like games is that the loop is meant to be frustrating. Kill, die, repeat. You're kinda signing up to be at least a little pissed. But the music in this game is so soothing that it shuts the frustrating part up so much and it almost makes me calm rather than annoyed. It's wonderfully made, the game and the music.
This song always makes me very nostalgic. It's almost sad, making me remember my first time playing. I couldn't even beat the vine rune elite. Eventually I reached the Concierge, but died to him many times. After that, Stilt Village became my worst nightmare because of the pirate captains, then the Clocktower with its many traps, and the damned lacerators. I always used most of my flasks and a lot of my health, which would explain why I struggled so much with the Time Keeper. I never really struggled with High Peak Castle past the first time, but the Hand of the King was another story. Eventually though, I beat him, and again, again, and again. I still struggle with him a little bit though.
I did sturggle a bit to make it to the ramparts but a few attempts later it was easy along with sewers but i died once to concierge and stilt village was hard Then i died at least 3 times to ram rune slasher on ossuary bc slashers are freakin hard Then i made it to ancient sewers and it was easy, the same with conjuctivius but in sanctuary i died 2 times i guess but i didnt make it to spider rune Elite, when i did it was easy as hell but sanctuary as a whole is hard mainly bc of golems After a longer break from game and a few att i made it to clock tower time keeper both were easy but i died once to high peak Then i made it to the hand and it was extreme It took me 5 attempts to kill him Now i have 1 bsc and im getting better and better Imo the hardest locations are the bank, sanctuary and derelict distillery which i didnt make ever
@pawelnocon3039 The best way to deal with slashers is definitely parrying, I'd learn how to if you haven't yet. Also yeah, those biomes are pretty difficult. I honestly wouldn't even bother with the Distillery for anything other than the achievements. Edit: Parrying not partying, dang autocorect
@@thedoc3727 yeah parrying is really good for slashers espiecially cudgel or Frost shield, i also love stun grenades and Wolf traps Im lucky that i only fight slashers in high peak as a key Elite (dark trackers are the easiest of them) and the worst enemies are: these giants in the bank, these ones with Giant swords in high peak, royal guards and golems which are the only bad thing about sanctuary Btw you wrote parrying correctly

Eh, not exactly. From what I can gather, the DC Community isn't one to bash you for differing opinions over the game's OST. Yet, judging from this comment section, the second half is generally liked by more people compared to the first.
@@Spacemaaan oh, I did Prisoner's awakening, the merchant, a little bit of the clock tower theme, and a bit of the high peak castle theme The other themes are way too hard to understand what's going on because some of them are like, a lot of percussion and weird sounds I can't really tell what (I'm not saying they're bad themes, they're really good, It's just me who can't play them right now... but I'll probably try to play them again) But hey, I might do a "Dead Cells Covers" video someday with those I can play already and by the way, thanks for asking! :D

I really wonder why this game, where you are actively rewarded for not spending more than around 3 minutes in a level, has these super long songs that rarely loop
