Looks sketchy. Why don't they make it like the others with the 'snap'? I am supposed to push my bike onto my kickstand with 1 hand as I place this contraption under the swingarm. Ummm, no. Maybe OK for bikes without kickstands but who carries their triangle while trail riding. Whoever designed this was High AF.
Oof, the aluminum version looks good up to 125cc? I have never seen such a weenie support...a plastic ziptie with nylon reinforced hose does not make this look like a finished product. It looks like the presenter played the cards he was dealt....but jeez that support rod, stainless or not, can be seen bending when you guys loaded it with a dirt bike.
I agree, it looks very cheaply made. I think the intent is for it to be as light as possible, but it also looks like a clever dirtbike mechanic could make an equivalent or stronger quick jack themselves with some pretty simple tools and a trip to a hardware store.
Hi Russel, Over the past year we did a lot of load testing and easily held up every bike we tested it on with never an issue and then a massive trailer with a tongue weight of 500lbs. And since those test we improved the strength. The Stainless steel cradle is made in such a way it can flex a little before it touches itself and stops the flex. By design. I’ve used a cut down aluminum adjustable cane for a few years. It’s only rated for 300lbs. The problem with it is, it’s unstable and the adjustable push pins are very suspect. I’ve always felt like it was going to give out, but it never did after eight of so tire repairs. This tool will hold at least 500lbs apparently and looks WAY more stable. I’ll be ordering one soon.
I disagree, this look like top quality engineering and manufacturing. Ive seen probably everything else on the market in terms of trail stand and this one looks to be the safest option
