And just like you, I was super excited for she looked awesome but I literally got mine in yesterday from big bad toys opened her up and her legs fell out and I was so goddamn pissed. I’m still pissed The figures look cool sure but they are nowhere near worth 80 bucks which is what I paid at big bad. Yeah, I think I’m done with loose Collector. I even reached out to them on Facebook and they said they were sorry and they offered me different ways to try to fix the figure which is so shitty because I shouldn’t have to do that.
Thank you, Bro! Every time I look into an excuse to buy a loosecollector figure I see reviews like yours. THANK YOU!!!! because your sincerity is saving me money and migraines cause by over price toys. The Fan boys seem to be hooked on the bikini looks. They are probably the same guys that Jerk off with a Sears catalog.
My first Loose Collector figure was Lady Death and since one of my wrist pegs broke off from the hinge, I never went back. I'd kept on seeing so many other collectors with QC issues on the newer figures which only served in concreting my resolve in avoiding them. You are correct in saying that it's unacceptable for the prices they charge, but damn, that Chaotica solicitation looks completely different from the final product.
Hey amigo. I bought the Loose Collector Shi figure and gave it a review myself. Mainly to pit it against the figure Dark Horse Comics did 10+ years ago. What I was kinda surprised by was that the $75 figure was closer to Marvel Legends gummy plastic quality and less of the SH Figuarts quality I would expect with the price tag. As it stands I will not be purchasing anymore at new prices. Their La Muerta did inspire me to make one out of a 4" Fortnite Skull Ranger. Those are indestructible. And only cost $9 on ebay.
OMG I saw this video after I funded for the new zombie one. I can still back out but I think I'm gonna take my chance in hopes that customers service may fix whatever problem I might have. Wish me luck
@@Xeallous I haven't bought any FHS stuff, and I honestly probably won't. Not because I think or heard they're bad of course, but mostly just because I don't want to get into yet another line of figures to collect lol.

Agreed. They are somewhat improving but as you mentioned it’s definition of mediocrity, they also somehow brought back wonkiness I haven’t seen since toybiz/early hasbro days. Only thing they have is sex appeal, which does make people happy but even that is botched by their wonkiness in the final product.
Man I'd love to get their Sonja, Chi, & maybe Chotica. Their QC issues with that higher price point is insane though. Plus, the difference between the promo pics & the actual product on top of that.
Man, first time watching your channel and I have to say I was highly entertained!!!! I just got the La Muerte figure on Friday and I honestly wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Granted I didn't have the trouble that you did, but after almost $90 with shipping and tax paid I don't feel I got the better end of the deal. The accessories feel like they're made of cheap plastic, i.e. the weapons and holster. The figure itself could have used an alternate head sculpt. The wind swept hair limits how much you can articulate it. Overall, again, I was not impressed as I felt I should have been based on the promotional pics. At any rate, it was HIGHLY entertaining hearing you go off about your experience with the company. I honestly have to say you must have received a curse from the company. @@pauljohnson3442 That's just par for the course with LC. Overpromise, overhype, under deliver. That's why I haven't bought anything from them since I preordered these, and I'm officially done with them as a company from now on unless they pull out a MASSIVE turnaround in quality.
My first (and last) experience with Loosecollector was the Great Wolf. I bought the white one and it is completely riddled with design and quality control issues. Completely unacceptable for the price of the figure, and even disregarding that, no figure should be so troubled. Apparently LC delayed the BBTS release from August to October of the wolves to fix QC issues, but I'm dubious that they'll be able to do so. Looks like they've been pushed back again to November. It does not help that LC provides little to no update on the status of these figures. Likely because they know if they release widely, their reputation would be severely damaged. I would not trust buying from them again.
5:57 "Loose collector makes bootlegs of their own toys" My EXACT thought when I got my Lady Death and her face was blah. Same thought when I got Taarna. Am hoping the Great Wolves are better but I'm not holding my breath. Kinda reminds me of TF 3P company MakeToys selling their defects as bootlegs under a different company name a few years ago.
I'm a fan of Loosecollector. I should probably specify that I'm not perfectly satisfied where LC currently is, but I'm hopeful where they could end up. Even still, I plan on getting Satanus and Chaotica. I see where you're coming from but hopefully I can add a different perspective. 1. I buy LC products because I want them to succeed. With every new product they do, they show an active attempt at making improvements. For example in this wave, they've moved the thigh cut and added double elbows. 2. They listen to fan feedback. They have actively made changes based on feedback with regards to articulation, flesh tones, and accessories. 3. They are a niche product that there aren't many companies doing. Particularly, curvy, skimpy, females. It's not that we're getting our rocks off to these figures but I appreciate that there's a company that is unashamedly making busty women when other companies are completely running in the opposite direction. Other companies make females look androgenous, LC is swinging way the other direction by attempting to make women hyper-feminine. Companies like Hasbro are ashamed of characters like Goblin Queen and A) they either won't make her or B) if they do, they massively censor her because they're embarrassed by her comic design. The problems you have with LC are valid. They are overpriced for what they are and compared to other companies. The face paints are not as good as other companies. And sure, they do have QC issues (which I thankfully haven't experienced, but if I do, I will absolutely expect them to fix the issue). At the end of the day though, I'm happy with their product. I recognize the problems with their figures but I'm willing to support them because I'm glad I finally have characters like Red Sonja and Vampirella in my collection; and that they faithfully capture their comic designs. So I'm willing to buy a few $75 figures once or twice a year in the hopes that there's enough people like me that support them so that they can continue to grow as they have already done, and in the hope that I will continue to enjoy their future figures as I have done so up to this point. Plus who knows? Maybe if they grow and increase their sales/MOQ, then maybe prices could come down too. $75 is not that much. It is pretty easy after I cut back on something like Marvel Legends when they were pumping out crap like Darwin, Sleepwalker, or D'Spayre. I'd rather have 1 LC figure than 3 Legends like that. So yeah. I'm comfortable paying $75 to have a sexy, flawed Red Sonja in my collection and I would rather do that then not have it.
While, I do agree with you & love the concept of the niche bad girls of the 90's, after the initial kick starter with Lady Death, I gave up. While I do think they're pretty good for what they are. Personally, I feel the price points are just too high. While I do have plenty of anime imports, which are in that price range & are not without their flaws as well. LC's line just does not feel like their money's worth. I even bought several of the Storm Collectibles Street Fighter 5 figures, but only the ones I really liked. I thought they were just good enough, for their price, even though they too have their pros & cons. I also had Super 7 MOTU & Thunder Cats, but gave up on them as well. Honestly, while I do like those figures, I don't $60 to $80 like them. I've even slowed down on my anime figures. Those are price points, I feel are unsustainable, for me. In any event, I have pretty much have all those ladies in 1/6th scale. Yes, they cost twice as much, or 2.5 times as LC, but I feel the value is warranted. True, they can't interact with my ML's & Classifieds, oh well. I suppose it doesn't matter what iteration you choose, there's no perfect choice. Although I won't need to worry about the top heavy, big hair, or frail joints. My LA Muerta's pleather boots have all cracked & peeled! Lol It looks like she put them through the ringer! Also, I've had poor stitching with holsters & their harnesses. Loose pistol slides & or mags & bi-pods & scopes. There's no perfect solution.
Sucks to hear their general quality and QC still isn't where it needs to be. Doubly so with Muerta as that design was badass enough to make disregard the premium pricing. Oh well, never mind. Thanks for saving me a load of cash, TCC.
In all fairness, too many of you guys buy more than enough of the figures to tell that the quality isn't up to snuff. And this tends to be the case almost across the board. Thank you for calling out the perversion in the action figure community because most male action figure reviewers and content creators on social media only look at female figures for how sexy they can be and it’s really irritating. The glazing of this mediocre ass toy line is the perfect example of it. Like if these figures were not stacked and curvy, I promise you all these reviewers would be shitting on them

The Skeleton Lady is the first and last LC I'm buying. I was planning to get the LC wolves but based on some reviews I've seen, they also have loose hip and ankle joints. I'd stick to Veteran William for now it seems.
The company is called Loose Collector, and you’re upset because La Muerta’s joints aren’t tight?!? 😛 The Loose Collector love goes back to the days when Dave was considered one of, if not the best, customizers in the world. He’s also, by all accounts I’ve read, a genuinely great guy. So, there was a lot of excitement when he announced that he would be starting his own line, and fans wanted to see him succeed. Also, as cringy as some of the licenses may seem by today’s standards, they do represent a very specific era in pop culture (or at least comic book pop culture), and there is an audience for them. Dave’s female customs were known for having some character appropriate curves that the mass market retail base figures had played down, so it seemed like a perfect fit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out as well as many of us had hoped it would, and while this review may seem a bit harsh, I don’t know how anyone could say that it’s unfair or unjustified. At the end of the day, no matter how much we may like Dave or admire his body of work, this is still a business and we’re still customers. I continue to be optimistic, because I believe that both the desire and the ability to make great figures are still there on Loose Collector’s part, but there’s a lot of work to be done in order to get there.
I know it sucks, but at least be glad that it's an easy fix, my La Muerta's arm broke off between the shoulder and the bicep. I legit had to heat up a part of a paper clip and give her a stint. I agree that it sucks when it happens tho
@@jigsawnora3207 I don't want to tell you what to collect, or how to spend your money. That being said, I'd strongly suggest just asking for a refund on them, and using that money for better figures.
@@gnarkillguch No this is fine and I will always be open to advise especially when it comes to finances. Thank you for your honest review. Loose Collector need to step their game up. Luckily I only invested in Muerta and have a solution for her loose legs 👍🏽🎈
I am someone that has supported Cof fin Comics since 2018. These characters are from that company and therefore I wanted to support them from their books, prints, metallicards, to their other merchandise like Statues and these here figures. I received these three about two weeks or so ago. Chaotica’s face was warped meaning her nose was off center and lips were not fully painted, Satanus has some weird black shading under her chest area (can see if you lay her down, and the one I was looking forward to the most, La Muerta, was the one one with the most issues. Scuff skeletal paint throughout body, back of left leg ankle was chipped, left arm’s elbow joint area was chipped too (looks like your is as well), and the pelvis design is off center. Reached out to both Loose and Executive and am getting Chaotica’s head replaced, shipped from the Philippines, and LM body replaced when “they receive shipment” from Exect’s side.
For the price I pay I too want them to do better. Move away from molded capes and be wire cloth, multiple head swaps, and above all that, HIGH QUALITY figures with better durability! Cof fin deserves better and should look for another company to do these characters justice!
@@TheNocturnal1 Yea, it's like I said in the video. I'm more than open to coming back to the line if they manage to turn a huge 180⁰ and make some banger stuff. But as it stands I'm over the whole thing. The characters, and especially the fans and consumers deserve much better.
Is the La Muerta figure supposed to be the same one that is on pre-order on BBTS and in stock on Executive Replicas website? Because the hair looks completely different from their pictures, which have darker and a more detailed hair. If I order, will I get the hair in their pictures or the one shown in this video? The fact that I have to ask this is ridiculous...
Hey bud, it's highly possible there's a sample/production 'bait and switch' going on between LooseCollector and their factory in China. But I absolutely agree the onus is on LooseCollector to ensure that the factory is delivering on their contractual promises or switch to another one.
@@gnarkillguch oh wow, had no idea it was 5 years - guess their profit margins are too good for them to make any adjustments. Based on what you're saying it looks like they send out press samples (for free) and just riding the positive publicity wave.

If I had to guess about the fanboys... I wonder if it's bc LC is one of the few still catering to the t&a / fan service collectors and so they're doing their utmost to make sure LC stick around to make more.
@@Kaioken20 Hey, I'll be the first to come back and give these guys praise in the future if they overhaul their product and make it actually worth the asking price. As it is, no amount of T&A is going to justify what they're putting out, and there are other much better alternatives out there for similar prices.
Anyone who wants this stuff can easily find plenty of it if they put any effort in. There's Snail Shell, Second Axe, Figma, Big Firebird, Animester, the list goes on and on and they're all better than this. I used to say LC is just big tits Marvel Legends at 3x the price, but after this last year that feels like more of an insult to ML than LC.
First time I saw a LC buck, thought it was a glorified ML, pricier, but no different. I own Garros but haven’t open it, fearing it’ll be plague with QC issues
You're 100% right lol! Shameless love for the thicc figures, but man.... absolute bait/switch with marketing shots. Had issues with Lady Death, Hellwitch, Vampirella, Sonja.... Thankfully my La Muerta is great. My Satanus' biceps are like...gummy stuck, pretty sure they're gonna rip if I try to swivel them...and yeah, Chaotica's mouth paint is awful. I just stuck the new Legends Sharon Carter head on her lol. I want to love these figures but they do need a huge quality jump for this price point.
Yeah, I've given up on the $60 to $100 price range, for 1/12th scale figures! I have most of these characters in their TBLeague form anyhow & they are superior, although not without flaws either.
One my issue with Loose Collector is for the price their should definitely be more accessories! The figure I was most Disappointed was Red Sonja, face sculpt was horrible! Hellwitch was the only fig that broke on me but they did send me a replacement arm. Taarna & Vampirella are ones I passed on cuz of the face sculpts! Honestly the only figures I have really liked so far and had no issues is Purgatori & Shi!! I definitely would send a video of your issues with figures to the company!
I've bought 2 of these figures, Lady Death and Hellwitch ....... I still have Lady death, and she's an "OK" figure at best ...... Hellwitch I promptly got rid of as soon as I finished the video review for her ...... I didn't have any major issues with either one of them, but they just don't impress me at all ....... These figures are just too much money for what they are
I mean you should probably send thatt broken one back! You do seem to have alot of back luck with these figures. I think you should probably quit on this company given you have honestly reasonable complaints.
The proportions of her torso changed from promo pic to final. The team at loose collector keeps making the breast comically oversized. I don't get it. I like big boobs too guys but promo pic looked better and had better proportions. Even La Muerta is not that stacked in the comics. Do better Loose Collector. Not every woman needs Triple D,E or F.
Its a sin tax. I don't thing it matters whom wins, I don't think sexy / curvy / lack of clothing action figures have much of a future. (male gaze or not religion friendly) What percent of the population is going to want and "age check" on that Playboy bunny figure? Not sure being well engineered give a pass for that. I agree, don't sell us junk, but so much of the anime type figures seem to skew flirting be being underaged. Yes, the marvels look nice, but seem to be repaints of all the same mold. Old school cheese cake hasn't been in style in quite some time. (see video games, comic books, big and small screen media) Sydney Sweeney and whom ever was female deadpool in the latest movie come to mind as sexy getting any screen time.

I know it sucks, but at least be glad that it's an easy fix, my La Muerta's arm broke off between the shoulder and the bicep. I legit had to heat up a part of a paper clip and give her a stint. I agree that it sucks when it happens tho
@@Wyatt_The_Wise That's rough. LC does genuinely have good customer service though, and from my experience they'll get you a replacement asap
Oh yeah. A cloth goods cape would have looked good on chaotica..
Oh my goodness!
I have these figs waiting in my pile of loot!
Wish I would've came across your videos sooner😐
@@jigsawnora3207 I don't want to tell you what to collect, or how to spend your money. That being said, I'd strongly suggest just asking for a refund on them, and using that money for better figures.
@@gnarkillguch No this is fine and I will always be open to advise especially when it comes to finances. That loose collector seems to be focused on vanity and not durability or quality and they should be held accountable. Thanks for being honest with your videos I wish more TH-camrs would be truthful 🎉🎉🎉
The QC problems suck. I have always felt that you pay the extra cause they are niche characters. Hard to compare them to Marvel and Street Fighter.
Never buying from LC again. My werewolf figure is LOOSE af. Lives up to that line's name i guess...
ty sir.
Wow...😮💨
Hey bud, it's highly possible there's a sample/production 'bait and switch' going on between LooseCollector and their factory in China. But I absolutely agree the onus is on LooseCollector to ensure that the factory is delivering on their contractual promises or switch to another one.
@@99Vood99 You'd think after being in business for 5 or so years now they'd have that all sorted at this point, but I guess not.
@@gnarkillguch oh wow, had no idea it was 5 years - guess their profit margins are too good for them to make any adjustments. Based on what you're saying it looks like they send out press samples (for free) and just riding the positive publicity wave.
@@99Vood99 From what I remember it all started at the end of 2018- early 2019 with the Lady Death reveal, so yea, about 5 years now give or take. I have no idea what their profit margins are obviously, but I can't imagine the licences are that expensive for such lesser known characters. From the looks of it, they're making a good bit from cheaping out on paint and quality at least.
@@gnarkillguch you are absolutely spot on, it appears they are using the uniqueness and niche aspect of these characters to take advantage of the consumers. I watched some of your other reviews and I'll subscribe later - do let us know if you get any of the Frank Frazetta/Frazetta Girls figures - those also are quite highly priced and another niche IP.
@@WompaStompaCyn 100% this. There's literally no excuse or reason to defend and support LC anymore.
I was going to get their Vampirella, but I'll stick to my TBLeague version!
@@AndresPerez-ei2lv Nice figure for sure. Just wish she was a bit taller lol
@@thehoodcollectorghettogeek1946 Already way ahead of you lol.
@@gnarkillguchHey somebody else had an experience like you!! th-cam.com/video/pEwksfG7XLo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KEicP1pfaLoC2iHM
@@dudemanrodATN Hey, I love big titties as much as the next straight guy, but yea. They are ridiculously oversized on these figures for sure.
I don’t understand why you keep buying them?
I imagine there will always be "sexy" figures being made, you just might have to look harder for them in the future.
