Sylvia Feketekuty is one of my favourite Bioware writers. Her stories in 'Tevinter Nights' were amazing, I absolutely adored Josephine in DA:I (she's my 'canon' Inquisitor's romance) and Emmrich is a really well-written and likeable character. His companion quest is incredible.
I wasn't sure I'd care for the Emmrich romance when I'd had my eyes on Lucanis and Davrin from the start, but I think Emmrich has the most romantic/poetic romance of them all, the kind of love that persists through death and all that, and I've grown surprisingly fond of it :)

Is it just me or is the ending, where all the townspeople help each other and cheer and stuff, almost a copy of the ending of BG3 (assuming you get the good ending)?
Bioware's flop attempt at integrating lichdom. DAO and DA2 had necromancy, it was shoehorned into time magic in DAI. Now there is death caller. There was always necromancy in Dragon Age, and in fact some DAI quests had true necromancy

The dialogue changes if you’re a member of Mourn Watch, not based on your specialization.

Wish we could see an ending where Manfred is brought back to life, but this was certainly interesting. I think Emmrich's my second favourite.

A large percentage of RPG good endings end that way. It’s a standard. BG certainly wasn’t the first

His room is actually next to Rook's room on the right. Is there a passage with a door there? If not that would be a bug...
@@mj.412 oddly enough i think it was a bug because I did the final act 1 mission and it was there. Dont know if it was a time gate.

I think it's a botched attempt at ethical necromancy. Kind of like Merril's clumsy attempt at ethical blood magic.
At least I think that's the intent.
