This was very informative. I have the complete package as well and my passenger side door piece needs to be replaced. This was extremely helpful. I have the 2015 2 door coupe V . Again, thanks this was very helpful.
I have many more videos about this car that might be helpful. See thumbnail link at end of video.
Excellent video, friend! Thank you for this. Dealing with a peeling trim issue on a customer's 2016 ATS-V. These are currently $184/ea retail MSRP from the dealer. 🤢 😳

Good video. Did not know the whole piece came out. I have a 2016 CTSV and ALL the CF pieces have fallen off. The bumper-to-bumper does not cover this? I found replacements in other patterns on ebay. I'm going with the Black Olive Ash Burl Wood as I have read that this is a common issue with the CF pieces. Gonna call my dealer and see what they say about the warranty.
Hope you get lucky on the warranty of these parts. I did not. I had to replace them with my own money. But they did give me a discount on the price of the items (because I asked for it.)
Hey Dave! I have a 2016 Cadillac ATS V-coupe (very similar to your 4 door). I watched your video on replacing the carbon fiber panel that had been lifted from the glue. I am having the same problem with my car. I want to replace this door trim but I'm having difficulty finding the replacement part. So far, I have found replacement parts #23111907(left) and #23111908(right) that are compatible with my model. The trouble I am having is determining if this part is the "applique" that requires gluing or the actual "door trim" with the attached plastic and clips like you showed in your video. I have called 4 different GM parts stores online and been given different "facts"??? I even called the Cadillac dealership that I purchased the car from....they couldn't even tell me??? I just want to order the correct replacement part and do it myself (I'm a DIY'er) or at least take it to my local body shop and pay them to put it on (their price is triple what I'm seeing online for the parts....if I have the correct part numbers). Any help from you would be great! I have always been a Corvette owner, but when I found the Cadillac ATS V-Coupe.....my heart melted! Thanks for any suggestions!
There is no gluing. What I said was the old part's adhesive started to fail. You don't glue anything back on.
@@HorsepowerHouse Thanks for the response! I am just trying to figure out if the part that I need to order is correct. I'm not quite sure if the applique part includes the carbon fiber attached to the plastic part with the clips or is it just a glue on part?? In all the GM parts online stores.....it's not really clear. Just trying to avoid ordering the part and it isn't the right part and having to pay a re-stocking fee to return it. Your video was very helpful but I am trying to determine if the part numbers are correct. I am looking for the same part that you got but my car is a V-coupe. I guess I am confused by the listing of "applique" versus "door panel" according to what I'm seeing online. Thanks again!
@@denisedenton5846 it is Applique
@@HorsepowerHouse Thanks so much for sharing the video and helping me figure this out! I am moving forward with ordering the parts.
? Did I see it right, did you break the plastic clip when you pulled it out?
The part was being replaced anyway. So breaking it didn't matter to me.
