I swear these are the videos that scare away beginner houseplant owners, because they think they need all these stuff to prop a hoya while you just stick it in water or perlite...

I’ve never had success propagating in water. What I do is put damp coco coir in a Tupperware container (not used for food) and put the cuttings with rooting hormone on them in there and seal it. It’s not the hardest thing in the world once you figure it out 😅

this does not work if the ventilation is bad in the container. It turns out that the cutting is rotten.
