The ROKR Link Pack kit was easy to complete. The instructions were, for the most part, easy to follow, however, they came in a fold-out newspaper kind of format rather than a book format; maybe they needed to do it that way to accommodate the size of the of the images. My only real complaint is the kit didn't come with wax. ROKR is usually great about giving you everything you need to start building but this was a failure on their part. Luckily, I still had some left from my recent build. Maybe you could just use a chunk of candle if you had to? I did have to use white glue a couple of places to keep parts from coming apart, this is also a rare thing you have to do with ROKR's kits but when you have to you have to. I had no breakages but ROKR gives you plenty of extra pieces in case something did snap. The machine runs pretty well but you can get jams where the balls enter the lifting mechanism on either marble run but fortunately, it's pretty rare. The build does have some jams sometimes that occur in the lifting mechanisms and you have to use something to poke at the balls to shove them in to the entrance. I'd say jams occur every few minutes of operation but I've had it go over 5 minutes without a jam. This kit seems to have a timer on the length it will run for 10 minutes and shut itself off. The Marble Spaceport's lifting mechanism can be finicky; sometimes I have to encourage it to feed itself. Every so often I will find a ball has fallen out of the system, it seems to be mostly on the Marble Night City component. Overall, if I had to do it all over again, I'd do it all over again.
Did you build this contraption?
What problems did you have?
Do you have any tips?
Let me know in the comments!
I ordered this kit on the 17th of July and it still hasn't shipped. Not very impressed with this company so far.
@@66lwmorgan yeah, it took a good month I think to get my kits in I think.
