- This doggie wrap is an easy and fun way to carry Mimi when she gets tuckered on hikes or when she wants to be carried while I'm doing errands. First, watch the video for a tutorial on how to tie the doggie wrap. Then, see this DIY guide to make one for your own pup! drive.google.c...

I have a Chihuahua, he is 9 months now and I hate those ppl like "it´s a soiled handbag dog". No he isn´t, he loves walking a lot, he continues walking over his limits, and for situations when he is over his energy limit I´ll use this in the future! Thanks a lot, it´s super good explained, it looks cool and it´s so helpful!
I have 1 grocery store here that allowing me to go in, in I hold him the whole time, now I can go shopping without leaving him crying at home.
Really loved that you didn´t stretched the length of the vid to 10 minutes like others! Appreciating it a lot! Good work
If you are in America, it's a crime to bring a dog in that isn't a service animal. If they serve food, it's an FDA violation and they can be fired, shut down, or even arrested
❤️🐶This video is so helpful, I adopted a doggie with severe separation anxiety, and I’m hoping this will help her feel better. Beautiful fabric too.
Yes, actually Mimi is very comforted by being held tightly (similar idea to the Thunder Shirt)!
Oh my gosh, how freaking precious. Excited to try this with my dog who is getting slower on walks and hikes but we like to go everywhere together.
Thank you! It works great for my older dog who can't do long walks because of arthritis. He loves it!
Finally, thank you my chihuahua absolutely ADORES being held but unfortunately I can’t while I’m doing chores so this is an awesome solution ❤️
In the upcoming weeks, I will be dog sitting my sis's puppy for the 2nd time, and she suffers from separation anxiety. The last time, I had her, it was so difficult to hold her while trying to do my choirs(and I have my needy doggie, too:) I will try this, and hopefully, it works. Great demonstration!
I love how the weight of the dog can be supported by both shoulders and waist. And oh, look how stylish and comfy that
is! 😍
Word up Kathy! I have a tiny Chihuahua who is a rescue and certainly loves to be with her daddy (me). I’m going to be using this for her from now on
Oh my gosh, how cute is that dog?! Thank you, this may be extremely helpful for my dog. I like this type of style that's balanced with back support.
Thank-you! My senior blind chihuahua is really needing extra attention these days and she kind of falls to the side in a ring sling. Saving this!
I love it 😻. I have a nine pound blue chihuahua, and my precious little princess absolutely loves to go shopping with me. I’m soooo going to have to make one in a pink fabric so it will show off her beautiful fur really well.
Yeah, I would need lot longer scarf, but you made me understand the scarf I bought, Thanx.
Fantastic video - so clear and well-presented. Thank you.
Beautiful and easy! Mimi is precious!
Thank you! I'll do this for my cat, she seems to have developed separation anxiety suddenly. she will even wake up and follow me even if I move 3 steps away from her so I always have to be cradling her.
Thank you for this video! Your dog looks like my dog whom passed away. Her name was Lily. Peace to you!
You are the best!! Thank you for this video. Need to ride with my morkie on my bike and this was super helpful!
Loved the video! Excellent directions. I do have a question about fabric size. Is there a method to measuring ones body to be sure of amount needed? I'm plus size and my fur baby is about 10lbs. Thank you. Naomi
Hmm this is a great question! I don't have an exact method, and to give you an idea this wrap is 90 inches for me and my dog of 5 pounds. However, there is a lot of excess fabric for the knots. Additionally, the fabric stretchiness is a big factor: Less material will be required if you have stretchy fabric. I would recommend you cut longer than you think you need then trim as needed! Here are the instructions: www.kathymayandsilas.com/2018/02/08/doggiewrap/
Very well done! Thank you! What kind of material works best?
This is a great question! Not too stretchy (needs to support your pup), not too rigid (needs to be comfortable and conform to your body). I used a cotton which seemed too stiff at first but after a few washes got really soft.
This will be a great help! Thank you!
How much fabric is needed?
I've never tried one of these before- has anyone used them with a mini dachshund? I don't know if I should tie it differentl so they sit another way because of their backs
So where are the directions to make, how much fabric?
Hello Diane, this is actually the companion video to my DIY guide: www.kathymayandsilas.com/2018/02/08/doggiewrap/
Fabric size might help
What kind of wrap is this?. Is it a stretchy one?.
I just Need to know how many yards or inches of fabric length that is😂 I wonder if this would be too tight for an older dog with arthritis? Anyway thanks for a very good video !
This is so adorable!
Hi, please everyone can you tell me how long (meters ) must be the 🐶 wrap? Thanks in advance
Hi! So I want to use this for my puppy who is definitely going to be growing into a much bigger dog. Should I just get a large size and just tie up the slack?
Hello Jennifer, how big will your dog be? There are a couple of solutions: (1) you can just use a stretchier fabric that can expand as your dog grows, though you may also want to make it longer in addition or (2) you can use a similar fabric to mine and make it both wider and longer. Regarding the length - if it's too short you can always just knot it behind your back; if it's too long you can always make a bow or cut the excess! I will say that a limiting factor in using this doggie wrap will be the size of your pup! You don't want to unnecessarily strain your back. Good luck - I hope yours turns out well!
👏👏 excellent instructions thank you I'm going to try it
Good luck!
How long is this cloth and where can we get then please!
Im new. How big should sheet be. Where do i get

Thankyou so much
Just like moby wrap for babies..
my dog is too hyper for this
You may be surprised! It is very calming for them (once you can get them in the wrap, of course!)
To much textile huh
Nice
🐈 cat
you would need to live in a cold climate because the dog will overheat being wrapped so tightly against your body.
The pups legs are munch crunched and although this is "cute" it doesn't look good for their spine/legs
