Shaw brothers Kung fu movies were my favorite movies in the 70s and early 80s, because of historical backgrounds that the movies provided, depicting events that occurred during the days of the Manchus and Chang dynasty. The movies' characters were carefully selected by Director Chang Cheh; they represented the most handsome and talented casts in the industry, particular the lead actors-David Chang, Ti Lung, Chang kuan Tai and Alexander Fung Seng Yu.

I agree that the fighting in Heroes Two is sloppy and that the best movies in terms of choreography came around 78-79. Around 74 the fighting was pretty much bashing "punch and block" and didn't contain much form or actual styles. But this movie does contain some Hung style which is fun to see as a Hung Gar practicioner. Many other movies at the time such as "The Kung Fu Master" (starring Ku Feng as Wong Fei Hung) didn't show any real Hung Gar at all (still a good movie though). Cheers
