Loving the positive vibes in this episode, really proud of Mason and Tony in particular, his speech was great 👏🏻 Huge respect to Maxine for refusing to be affraid and not letting people like eric win. 💪🏻
I seriously loved what Tony said in his speech including Maxine and Misbah’s. I’m also glad that Mason joined them and especially what Leah said to him as well I really hope she’ll forgive him including Charlie, DeMarcus and Ella. I even wish Scott was there too and even Sam and Zoe joined that march including Shin Lin, Leela, Sienna, Ste, this was so beautiful. 😊
Mushk Rose I seriously doubt that’ll happen. I also ship Diane and Tony together they’re really beautiful together but the more I see beau and Maxine the more I think they’d be better as a couple.
i can understand why tony was angry, he asked them to keep the noise down etc because of his other guests..... organising a march for respect... but then disrespecting the pubs owner who is helping you
Its a march and a protest. Its not exactly gonna be silent. Especially on a topic like this. The whole point is about women speaking up and making their voices heard. Not being silent.
@@lucypreece7581 they were at the pub making the plans, not the march itself. he said they can plan as long as they stick to them selves etc because he has a booking thats important to him (which is not out of order) he needs to make a living... shes supossed to be a long term friend of his, but instead as usual maxine does what maxine wants, he had everyright to be angry, i think a protest at night would of been better anyway.

This storyline covered so many factors , misogyny, sexual harassment, blame shifting, prejudice, and many sexist attitudes, the team of hollyoaks really did there research and nikki sanderson did this storyline justice! that's what i love about hollyoaks they tackle real life issues and taboos , this episode was very empowering and inspiring ❤

@@spencerreid2086 did you even watch the episode showing Maxine's journey home. They showed the difference between Maxine and Romeo travelling home. Romeo literally no issues. He could stroll along and not think about anything. He took a shortcut throughbthe dark unlit park and was completely fine. Got on a bus and was loved an adored by a group of girls on a hen do and was lapping upbthe attention. He didn't need to think about anything. Maxine was hyper aware of her surroundings. She didn't take the shortcut and instead stuck to only well lit areas. When she was on the bus she sat onnthe top deck because of a group ofnrowdy young lads. And when another man came and sat a couple of rows behind her she moved to create most distance from him and he made a rude comment. In the scene at the end with the police she questions whether she should have had her hair down instead of in a pony tail to make it harder for her attacker to grab her. If she should have worn jeans instead of a skirt. Flats instead of heels. There is victim blaming. Mens actions and words and clothing ar NEVER questioned.
I wouldn't say Misogynist, just like Maxine he went through quite alot, losing Verity and Eric's attack on Dianne. I'm not a therapist but I guess he was trying to process it all in his own way if that makes sense.
