- We head into "The BadLands' of Alberta, looking for ghost towns and abandoned cities. After a little Google searching and some mapping things out, we have a "pretty" good idea, of where and what we're looking for. Or so we thought.

I think old barns and abandoned places are cool too
Me too. So great to explore
It would be Amazing to be able to restore this old ominous house. Thanks for the tour Brent✌️ Hey Mr.Dude 😁
That would be cool! I think that most times
Andrew did a great job on your theme song. Love the drone shirts and when I was younger, we used to play in the old barn and our grandparents house. I'm not sure I'd climb anything now, but I still love old barns.
There’s something about abandoned places
Another magical mystery tour in the GE . Just like the older explorer days.😊 Enjoying the back roads adventure with great company. Thank you 🙏 ✌ ❤🐶 in GE = 😊❤
Glad you enjoyed it and you’re smiling Dusty
At first I thought it was the old windmill making a squeak, but was it a little white fluffy guy telling you, Dad, get back to the bus. You are truly a brave man because I'd never have gone up those stairs.
😂
The heart was pumping
I enjoy the diversity of landscapes that are found throughout Canada. Years ago I discoverd an old abandoned log house with a dirt basement with a cold storage in it. There wasn't much to the house, it was quite decapitated but the cold storage looked untouched and was full of real old canning jars with glass and galvanized metal lids. There wereb.ue green and clear glass jars with stamped Beaver, Crown and other names. There was a large array of pickles, jams, relishes, etc...that were were many long years passed their expiry. I guess nobody thought of checking the trap door to the story as the place was quite creepy and dangerous looking. We emptied out the jars and I took them home to wash them. I used those jars for about twenty-five to thirty years until the kids left home and I moved to Fort Mac, AB. I do know they were rare and collectable but when you need to move quickly there's no time to fuss over such things. We didn't find any ghosts there but such places always leave me feeling sad and pensive. I can't help but wonder about what tragedy or exploit drew the occupants to abandon their home, why was it left unoccupied and left to decay? It's great inspiration for a writer's imagination . Enjoy the hunt Brent but keep watch for those rotted floor boards and beams, the old wells are dangerous also as many are covered over with debris, rotted boards and vegetation if out door.
That was supposed to read dilapidated, not decapitated, oop!
Ah ha, another adventurer, it so fun
The Dude is telling you you’re crazy….. Andrew’s pup is cute
Mongo, such a great pup
Awnings are a big help. If only these old buildings could talk. So cool, I imagine the families that lived there and what possibly happened to them. I am a story writer sort of. Loved it Brent, good one!! Listen to that dog of yours, he has lots to say. Stairways were skinny back then.
I hear ya. My mind travels so much in those places.
I used to do that in and around Brandon, Manitoba after I got my driver's license. Found all kinds of interesting things in old abandoned farm houses.
It’s so cool eh
The prairies have so much to explore
it was good catching up with you on Amanda and Frank's premiere today
I love that kid. Met her in Squamish a few years back. So jealous she’s on Haida Gwaii. I think I may have to head north
Hi Brent and Dude! Kind of interesting! I like adventure things like this too! That friend of yours did a great job of your theme song, I like it! Take care you guys, have fun! 🥰🙏🏻🐶🐶

I play it calm, but it is an Erie feeling
What great finds. I was nervous for you in that first rickety old house. I was scared it was going to fall down on you.
You were?!?!?! lol, so was i

The abandoned homesteads🏚 are both Beautiful and sad to see. You wish you knew its history.
And suddenly my imagination starts to ride🏇 🤠 away on the vast landscape AND returning to the barn in the evening....

P.S. animals also make trails D.S.
I think that’s what draws me. You feel the stories.

Pretty neat explore! Last time my Mom went back to Saskatchewan, she wanted to explore the old now abandoned house she grew up in. Alas the current property ownet said no as it was in a state of collapse, so they could not venture inside...

Dude does NOT like being left out of adventures!
No kidding eh, that lil bugger got good lungs
Any insulation might have been sheets of newspaper
I’ve seen saw dust and hay. Good ole ingenuity.
Cargill fertilizer plant!😂

Im planning on moving into my cargo trailer shortly to be able to visit such places ! I was woundering what most nomads use for a home address to use on their car ownership and insurance papers etc
I borrow one from family
Others get p o boxes
Private ones have address of place with a box #
Looks like an apartment
Lots of fun you guys are having. The Dude 💞💝 didn't like being left in the bus, that's for sure. So, what's in Vulcan Ontario?
