Awesome video! Trip down memory lane for me. I got an LTR for my 14th birthday in 2007. Raced outlaw MX tracks in PA and was always the youngest guy in my class. The LTR was something else. Routinely laying the smack down on fully built TRXs and YFZs with just a few bolt on mods and rear tires. Could usually pull both hole shots on race day and make $20 each time to give back to my parents for going through all the trouble 😂 Hauled the quad to the races in our coal bin trailer behind my stepdads S-10. Arguably the most underfunded rider on the track but the LTR evened the playing field for guys who didn’t have 20k+ to blow on a race bike. I have 15 plaques hanging in the garage to this day. More than half are 1st place! Been itching lately to get back on four wheels, especially when I come across a throwback vid like this one. Hoping to inspire a few others to do the same and ditch the ridiculous side by side industry. I’d rather pound sand than pretend to be a badass behind the wheel of one of those glorified bar hopping machines. Get real!
This vid is kinda depressing. This time was so awesome for atv riding. You had so many badass 450 race quads, 400 sport quads and big bore 700s. Also at this time the big twin sport 4x4 quads were being born. Now most are gone, and school bus size sxs are the craze.
We hear you! Every time we are at a side-by-side intro for UTV on Demand we always harass the manufacturer's with questions about when they're going to release a new affordable sport ATV model and why they have forgotten the Common Man. Nothing to Rave about yet but for the first time in a long time we have heard some glimmers of interest from a couple manufacturers regarding the sport Market. Unlike a lot of other Publications in the industry we actually took side-by-sides off of our platform and moved it to another channel so we could stop working to kill the sport that we love buy dangling side by sides in front of ATV enthusiasts.
We miss you too. We love the ride on segment. For the past few months we've really had to dedicate our attention to UTVonDemand with all of the side-by-sides hitting the market. We are getting ready to shift our attention back over to the ATV Channel. We have a few more 2019 ATVs to get reviewed and a few projects that we've been working on for longer than we'd like to remember. Should be a busy spring and summer.
Thanks. This was one of a few old videos the we never moved over to TH-cam when we stopped hosting most of our videos on our website. Of course, we still have the videos on our site stream from TH-cam. We'll have some new stuff coming in the near future.

Lol, this video is like 15 years old. I can't remember why we did it like that. Maybe we were on a deadline and didn't have the part available.
