My 96 XJ is outfitted with JCR everything, bumper to bumper. I just installed the molle panels and cargo basket and wanted to mention that the last step (the long screw) is different. The trip pieces are much different and there is no screw to remove and replace. I had to drill a 1/8" hole through the plastic, then into the metal beneath in order to fasten that lower bracket. Thought you guys should know. Great products!
I have 4 young adults driving jeeps as of right now , ages from 20 to 30 years of age, Jeep Compass, 2 XJ's , Liberty, me wrangler - aka - dad , wife has commander with Hemi , the kids pay for all their own up grades and repairs, & insurance - is high for the new drivers, and in technology school or college, as we all buy an use your products we are advertising your name - really for free, but I get it,.. Just saying not downing anything..!! We very much enjoy all of your products! And thank all of who that is involved from start to finish in any of your products very much.!!
About to install these bad boys right now. I use my XJ for work and carry all kinds of tools and hardware in the back. It's about time I had a new place to put them. You guys should engineer something that attaches to those across the headliner for MORE attachments.
Just installed mine on the passenger side as well. Only regret was not buying both sides right away. Great fitment and looks great as well! Oh and thank you for being one of the few that still includes decals too
Just installed two of these. Love the product as always and can't wait to fill them with gear for the next camping trip....my only customer feedback would be to use regular bolts instead of Allen head bolts for the instillation hardware. Especially for the bolts directly behind the upper seatbelt bracket. Getting a racheting wrench on a regular bolt would be much easier than trying to squeeze an Allen wrench in that tight space. Other than that, %100 satisfied.
Looks like an awesome product. I know it costs money to engineer and produce some of these products but for the price of these panels I think I'll drop the money on upgrades somewhere else but hey I might get at least one side since I wanted something like this for a long time. Thanks for putting out cool stuff for the XJs
This is cool. You know what might be cool too? A panel like this that fills the driver side roll cage area in a TJ that’s over the rear wheel behind the driver.
I got one of these and am having some trouble getting it installed. Once you have the first 2 brackets in and mount the panel, how do you get to the nuts on the "window" side to tighten them down? Do you go in from the back? Are my hands and arms just too fat??
@@brimy311 It fit my 96 just fine. The missing screw in the plastic trim by the liftgate is not an issue. The hole in the sheet metal that is used on the 97 - 01 is there on my 96. I just drilled a small hole in my plastic trim and the screw went thru like the video.

“1984-2001” my ass. The 1989 Jeep Cherokee I’m working on has lap belts stock so no way of getting the seatbelt mounting hardware to work and does not have a screw hole where the long self tapper and mounting bracket should fit. I’m gonna make it work but for the hundreds of dollars you’d think they’d look at more than a few model years. 👎
Help the younger generation trick out their 4x4's , JUST saying how about a program when the younger generation can provide proof of still in school or college and get some kind of discount like 10% on a set amount of like $60.00 or more would be very helpful..!!
JcrOffroad simple dermal or angle grinder and a few hours. It's a free market you don't have to be mad about people saying your asking too much for your product. Consumers are who buys your products. Their feedback is worth listening to.

We haven't tested that at the shop, unfortunately. 2 door XJs are pretty rare these days :(

One problem, a lot of xj cargo nets use that same seat belt bolt as an anchor for there net.

It should be no problem. A soft bag for your medical kit would take up less room, however.
Will this work with the River Raider Offroad ACC-1084 48" Hi-Lift Jack Mount?
We haven't tried. The only worry would be if all the material thickness moved the mounts too far inward for the seat to latch.
