I loved NCAA 06 as a kid loved watching those videos with the music b4 gameplay with nfl greats like Moss,etc... on ps2 was lit & ncaa 07 on ps2 & psp r still fun today. #EA #BringbackNCAAFootball
2002 - monumental step up in presentation as it introduced a 3 person commentary team for the series unveiling on the ps2
2005 - stadium run outs introduced. However, they were pretty much all the same except for Notre Dame's. Still cool to hear the visting team get booed (even louder boos for rivals)
2006 - very cool showing the in-studio team before the game and Lee Corso don the headgear of the team he picks ala College Gameday
2011 - first introduced ESPN presentation and brought team run outs back to the 360/PS4. I think this was the first game without Corso though :(
2012 - really improved on the stadium run outs by adding a lot of unique run outs for each school. Really enjoyed being able to customize the music for each team's run out.
2013/14 - I hated they got rid of the run outs but replacing it with Rece Davis introducing the matchup followed by an ESPN pre game style montage was pretty nice
For the next NCAA Football game pregame (praying it comes back): College Gameday pregame type show featuring highlights from other games (much like College Hoops 2k8's highlight show) (maybe show the ending of a game occuring right before your game "bonus coverage"?) cut to --> 13'/14' montage cut to --> run outs

I like ncaa 10, 12, 13 pre game but ncaa football 14 have the uniforms , if 14 pre game was like 12 or 13 it would've been a rap for me best game ever... I love authenticity

06 was the best they even had the heisman presentation it was pretty dope

From 98 to 02 was development shock...to see the player design and framework change completely was a beginners love.
03 to 09 ps2 was the growth and establishment for the love of the game with 06 being the crown jewel of those years.
Next Gen 07 gave us new graphics and player designs, but was trash because there was no Dynasty mode, however 08 was somewhat a redemption...the features were back and we began to see what EA was capable of from 08 to 10...(09 being the best in graphics, 10 being the best in lighting)
EA reached its pinnacle with a 4 year (11-14) run of achievement and improvement...getting better year after year...imo there hasn't been a run like that in a football video since NFL 2K5 (Which coincidentally used ESPN marketing and presentation giving 2k5 the mark of the greatest NFL video game EVER made, something madden has never done regardless of having access to ESPN total package)
In the 4 years of 11-14, my favorite is still 13...it was the first time players didnt feel alone in the college football universe...with Reece Davis cutting into your game play with scores and updates that felt relevant to what your team and possibly your opponent needed to accomplish.
Its was Saturday in a console.

Man.....2002 brings back a lot of memories.
ur right dawkins, the ps2 intros were the best; short, to the point, but still TV like. the next gen intros were trash and when they got ESPN they were tryna be too cinematic and the shit was long
on the ps2 they actually analyzed the matchup, but when they got espn they spent tht time shoving sponsors down our throats lol

I just felt like they just got ESPN for its branding, they never used it like they needed to. I prefer the intros from the PS2 games honestly, they were short to the point. I also liked how the NCAA games allowed you to import draft prospects to the pros and oversee their pro careers, but they took that feature out, instead electing to have things like Ralphie running down the field, the FSU warrior riding his horse, the covered wagons for Oklahoma, all of this long drawn out stuff for pre-game. But EA has always taken stuff out and put stuff in.
Thankfully there's a store near me that sells older games and I still have my PS2 and I remember the store have NCAA Football 2005 so sometime in the next few days I'm going to pick up NCAA Football 2005 if they still have it
The best was the one that show an actual highlight reel in the background of the Home Screen.
Thankful my ps2 still works I play 03 and 09 on there still I also have 11 and 14 for 360

Bro when I saw that ncaa 06 and 07 had lee putting on the helmets and mascot heads I crossed my pants, Bc ncaa 13 and 14 are so plain, the graphics are good but nothing else, the game itself is so amazing but there could be more. So with that being said, I hope next gen has college game day and good unis. Plus I hate how all the teams where short socks, real player wear compression pants

Those first couple of games on the 360 & PS3 were terrible. You can really tell how much they lost, even in the pre-game presentation, with NCAA 07 & 08. Took until NCAA 11 to even get the pre-game back to where it was on last-gen. It was a rough transition.
