I like San Pellegrino if I am dining. The smaller bubbles is just enough to clear the palate, but not belch. I like big, burpy bubbles if casually drinking a seltzer or eating a sandwich.

I only buy sparkling water that's been carbonated by mermaids living in the Aquitaine region of France. I find it has the perfect balance of bubbles (just enough to refreshingly tingle the tongue but not enough for us to belch like sailors), mineral content, and just a dash of saltiness I'm told is from their own tears.
It's expensive, but my goodness it's worth it!

It seems pretty silly if not lazy to compare seltzer water (only carbonation) with Sparkling water (added minerals for taste).
They are two separate products that have been around for centuries.
You could have easily found a dozen different brands of seltzer water AND sparkling water at a well-stocked grocery store or beverage outlet.

For a national brand, Pelegrino is very good. But you're missing the best one. When I discovered *Arrowhead* brand, I realized that the differences are not just talk. The differences are real, and Arrowhead is the best. I think it's cheaper than Pelegrino. It's available in northern California, but I'm not sure how far the brand reaches beyond that. Growing up in Minnesota I never imagined myself being a food or water snob, but if I can taste the difference, most of you probably can, too.

San Pellegrino in Italy is effervescent and is delicious. North American imported version has added carbonation and tastes completely different, more like pop...

I can't for the life of me understand Americas fascination with LaCroix water. I order product for our companies kitchens and I order TONS of every flavor of the stuff every week, I can't understand it, its horrible. SPINDRIFT is better if you want carbonated flavor water.

Rambler is really good but I also really like Lacroix and Waterloo. Don’t really like the unflavored but the infused like Grapefruit, Black Cherry

No like Too Chico. Too many bubbles. Lots of big burps. Like San Pellegrino. Small bubbles, no burps. Well, sometimes burps, if I drinks a big bottle.

Gerolsteiner all day. Balanced mineral taste and carbonation is strong lasting a long time.
San Pellegrino is a close second next to Perrier and only in glass bottles.
Some may not like the mineral taste but it’s better for your hydration. Plain purified water dilutes your body of its minerals and actually makes you more thirsty = consuming more.

LOL I think it's funny how a 100 years ago this was all the rage. Sparkling Water was so popular and people bathed in them and now it's popular again.

I bought a kegerator so I can have sparkling water on tap... I prefer bottled Perrier, but Topo Chico is very nice as well.
I remember catching hell from people for drinking it 20 years ago... those same people now act like sparkling water snobs.

Drinking lime flavored Perrier as I watch this. Meanwhile, I KNEW that lightly carbonated one was Pellegrino. Nice!!

They should have compared sparkling water to sparkling water, not sparkling water to seltzer water. Pellegrino is sonhealthy and well loved
around the world. Restaurants don’t compare seltzer to sparkling, and neither di most people, this show is a joke.

That’s a bit a let down- there are vast differences- e.g. Perrier - big bubbles, Badoit fine bubbles (strangely good carbonation but with very small bubbles) - with a very high sodium content- and so in…

The best sparkling water is the one you make at home in your sodastream. Transporting water across countries is just plain stupid. Not to mention all the plastic waste. Don't carry home water if you can drink it from your faucet!! And if you have to buy, find water that comes from your area.

Words of advice for Americans who want to go to France : La Croix is sold in white opaque plastic bottles there, and it's bleach, not sparkling water.
