Human:ll:Nature is such an incredible album, probably my favourite so far! If you're planning to react to the whole album (I really hope that's the case!), I'd suggest to do the songs in order. Every note and phrase is so carefully and perfectly placed that mixing it up takes away from the experience imho.
It really is a great album. I'm not sure about "best", but it's definitely different in a very good way. I wanted to like Troy's vocals more, but I feel like he's just a bit too... non-metal... for my tastes...? That said, I still love "How's the heart"; though I think "Endlessness" is the one that really got me going for this album - and I'd love to see reactions from Tank, Chase and others to that song!
This video is great. It's showing the parts of people that we don't like to admit. 1) The addiction to technology. Smart phones are incredible tools, but how often have we seen them taking away from people appreciating life? You know, you go to a restaurant with your friends, and everyone's on their phone instead of chatting with each other? Or the monks not even noticing they're sitting infront of a world famous piece of art? 2) The hypocritical nature of people vs what they present themselves as on social media. Always happy, always perfect. When they're clearly not as good of people as they're marketing themselves as. And this video had some interesting Easter Eggs in to too. If I recall correctly, when you listen to the video in mono it the start of the clip with all the extra noise Floor says "Shut up" but you can't hear it in stereo. But if most are watching it from their phones.. funny it only has one speaker. And when the old guy dies at the end, that little blip was a very old Windows shutdown sound.
Your Tank Fact on this song was SPOT ON! It preaches about the horrors of the addiction these magnificent devices has caused. Another thing, the mother and child scene basically talks about helicopter parenting, and how it can be a facade (all smiles on camera, but behind the scenes, not so well put together).
This album (Human. :II: Nature.) is a masterpiece. Please, continue to listen it for more. TH-cam is full of reactions but I'll continue to follow yours. Your insights and facts are perfect! I really hope to see Nightwish live in 2021.
The blond girl in underwear is an instagram(?) model and she is doing a parody of herself. The person in the black goo in the bathtub is none other than Mr. Holopainen himself. Have seen somewhere that he liked sitting there, it was warm and cosy and he didn't want to get up. Think he was sitting there for about an hour and a half until he finally got up. Cheers / B.
I don't know if this is intentional, but the other thing that happens with the models is that they need to keep pushing it further and further to get new likes, hence, her removing of more and more articles of clothing.
The black goo was supposed to be oil (it was a plant based oil) and he was playing an environmentalist who had a sign that was pro nuclear power and against on each respective side and the bath representing him bathing in oil as a metaphor for him being funded and influenced by big oil companies. All of the metaphors in the video seem to represent how what you see online is idealized and not necessarily representative of reality and maybe a reminder not to accept everything at face value and to keep a healthy amount of skepticism and think for yourself.
A ton of respect for your honesty and again an awesome reaction video. Discovered Nightwish at the same moment as you, so now every week i enjoy a new Nightwish song and i'm following along. Great Channel Tank! Keep up the amazing work. Thanks a ton from Belgium! You should check out the stage production of the band Rammstein with the song "Du Hast", live from Paris.
I am sure I am not the first to suggest, but if you are wanting to hear more Human Nature, How’s the Heart is a great candidate for a double reaction. Studio version, plus a live acoustic version with Troy. Meanwhile as always, Dead Boy’s Poem (Buenos Aires) & Last Ride of the Day (Wacken)!
Ngl, Human:||:Nature has hit me in a way I wasn't expecting Nightwish to hit (only recently started listening to them again 2yrs ago). It stirred something deep in me and I've been moving further and further away from social media since its release. I've gotten more in touch with my spiritual, earthly side too. I've also gotten more emotional with a lot of songs and couldn't put my finger on exactly why... it just hits different This album is exactly what modern society needs to hear and pay attention to, and 2020 has turned out to be the perfect time for it. I'm grateful to this album and every song in it.
Ok so again, thank you Tank for another great reaction video. Again I will try to sell you "While Your Lips Are Still Red" from Wembley 2015 because its a Marko vocally led song and Troy plays a beautiful sound on guitar and I know you have a lot of love for those two. If you're looking into another Human .II. Nature song, I would recommend next you go for either "Shoemaker" for beautiful vocals or "Pan" if you want something more along the heavy riff side.
Check out the official music video for "Fields of Verdun" by Sabaton...that is some production there, I tell you what. (Yes, bigger than "Bismark"). Back to Nightwish...hopefully we are one step closer to "Shoemaker". Like "Poet and the Pendulum", I highly recommend familiarizing, if only summarily, yourself with the life of Eugene Shoemaker; just so the song can hit you in the feels a bit harder.
You got it Tank. ISTR it was Floor who persuaded Tuomas to make this video as she saw it as a very powerful commentary. In true Tuomas style then it is littered with visual Easter eggs, your commentators have mentioned many and here's some more, but let me apologise in advance if I am repeating some I might have overlooked in the comments. Troy's extra important higher than everyone else gold platform shoes and his oil derrick "crown", Floor of course using her "famous" pageant child to promote her social media image, several hexagons are seen being the structure of the hive and the world standard planning map for cell towers to maximise radio channel reuse economy,; Emmpu getting figuratively mugged for swiping the wrong way and Kai using that for a selfie back-drop, something that did happen in real life somewhere too I recall, and the little gem when the baby dies as an old man and his helmet screen goes black, the old Windows Bluetooth shutdown melody. "Smart" phone? I don't have one or need for one and I never see anyone talking on the things, fingers and thumbs yes, it's a misnomer; to me, as a recalcitrant, cantankerous and contentious real old fart, its a GDHHSMID - graphically driven, hand-held, social media interface device, I don't do social media either, except for YT here, is that social media?. This is a sad indictment of modern living and tech take-over: www.bbc.com/news/technology-38992653 Australia & Singapore too. Don't be a tool of a tool, digital fool, put the blasted thing away and get out there into the real, natural world. Oh, loving your stuff Tank, always fun and informative, thank you for that.
With your having a baby due soon, the beginning & ending of the video probably hit home! Makes me look back & wish I’d approached technology with my kids a bit differently. I love this song so much! Great music *and* a great reminder to keep my head up and eyes open.
Yeah, my kids will not be getting absorbed into technology until a much later age, if I can help it. I didn’t get my first “smart phone” until I was 20. Haha
@@TankTheTech Yeah... protect your kids! Smart man. 🤘🏻 I was in my 30s. 😂 I still remember getting dial-up internet when I was a kid. My dad was an electrical engineer so we had to have all the techie stuff ASAP. Jesus I’m old. 😂 (I just remembered watching the first day of MTV!)
@@TankTheTech I really think you should check these three sisters who wrote a song on the same subject three years ago. Watch the baby in the beginning. vimeo.com/210374020 Imagine that they were 12, 15, and 17 when they wrote that. 🤘😎🤘
Great reaction, as always! The songs in this album are very different one from another, but I would recommend to hear them in their album order, as it will add to the whole experience and the album Idea. As for hearing them live, Nightwish announced on their website two virtual shows in March 2021, to start the Human :II: Nature Tour.
Gotta check out Music and Tribal from this album....oh hell check out the whole album! Wonderful reaction as always; you and Chase are my favourite reactors, humorous and so insightful in your own unique ways. Thanks for the experience.
Dude. I can't wait for them to start touring again! This song and a lot of the other new ones will be so freaking insane live! Also, love the Fear Factory at the end!
Quality, as usual. The end is wonderful. The baby is now an old man... Then the camera pulls up, and look at ALL he's missed while strapped to his VR goggles. They're gigging in Madrid (200 ish K's from me) in September. In time for my 50th... Can't wait. PS. I got the Dance worked out. You'll understand soon enough. As always... Big love from Spain. If you ever come by; it would be a privilege to have a few beers with you.
I knew it. I knew that if I hoped against all hope, we would get the confirmation for Emmpu's gear or at least the thoughts. Just kidding. Love it as always can't wait for you to see even more! Cheers! 😁🤘🎸
Yep " Whatever " This one cracks me up. Every time I watch ( many ) I see something new. The band looks like they are enjoying their acting roles. The song's message is crystal clear and sadly true. Every time I see Someone walk into a pole, bench, wall or another person, I think of this video and smile.
it´s not against technology per se. but against addiction and the "countless lies". thanks for your great reaction, tank. happy holidays for you and your loved ones.
The "Human Nature" album was the first to be written with Kai on the drums (he recorded "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" but it was written with Juka) and, to me anyway, the drums sound more aggressive than on the other albums (bringing his Wintersun influence).
Yes, it is, by Stobe Harju. He also did the Islander music video, after which he said he won't be doing any more music videos, but then Tuomas called him about Noise... :D
Cant wait to see the live shows based on the next tour. The story telling elements and delivering a message has grown to be a huge part of their music. Thank you Tank have a awesome christmas!
band love to play and it shows. there are bands, good bands, great bands and then there is NightWish. it just is something else. and you doing reaction you enjoy it too and it shows. I am waiting that they start playing live again because only thing in this video is missing is the energy from band and audience . NW is maybe only band I like to listen live but you can all most touch the energy and band is not just doing their job on stage, the whole band enjoys every gig they play.
⭐Got it in one Tank. The addiction, but also the falicy, created by imagery to conceal reality. Heaps to try to take in. You'll love "Harvest", from 'Human||Nature'.🤗❤ The whole album is a truly beautiful journey. Hope you & your wife have a wonderful & safe Festive season.🤘🤘🤘❤❤
There’s so much in Human :||: Nature that’s awesome as well and I think you’re gonna love it 😁 Harvest has a really folky feel for me, the drums on Tribal are crazy (Kai had to add five drums to his kit!), and while not really as metal as a lot of their songs, How’s the Heart will grab you 😊 There’s a live video for How’s the Heart with only Floor and Troy - Troy is playing a classical guitar and singing harmonies 👍 Thanks again and have a very merry Christmas 🎄 and a most wonderful New Year 🤘😎🎸
Love the song and the Album. It’s one of the gifts I got my Mum for Xmas. She likes the old stuff but not heard Floor yet... what a treat. Have a great Xmas Bro 👊🏻🥃🍺
I recommend watching the live acoustic version of "How's the Heart", mostly because there is Troy playing acoustic guitar with Floor, so new gear to comment on.
Thanks for the dedication and I'm glad you enjoyed it. As for the only take on "live" performances of Human Nature, you can do the acoustic version of "How's the heart" (maybe a back to back along with the lyric video as Chase did). Merry Christmas!
Tank, what your said regarding the technology is so true, The addiction and Obsession with with appearance and our reliance on our phone’s that has taken over our lives.
Deleted my Facebook account over a decade ago. I lived in different countries growing up and at first it was a good way to keep in touch, but it soon changed. I have no Instagram, twitter, etc. I don't need to see what everyone had for breakfast, their individual political opinions, or care what they are trying to "influence" my decisions on. I do enjoy researching" how to" videos as I take on new projects or research a new subject and of course following our beloved Nightwish on TH-cam. Other than that, I am no worse for wear on not having any social media. I love this video and it is absolutely spot on with all of its images of how we've gone too far. Merry Christmas Tank and the Nightwish Army!
This video is amazing and has so much stuff going on that I had to rewatch it several times to try to catch up everything. Absolutely agree with you. They're not saying phones or technology are bad, they are a part of this era and they really help a lot in some matters, but as everything it becomes a problem if you become too dependant on them, and a much more serious one on subjects like self-esteem and confidence. A wake up call from this amazing band. Great reaction man, hope to see you soon with the rest of the album!
Like I said months ago, you’re gonna hit 50.000 subs before the end of this crappy year, seems I’m gonna be right 😉 Why?...because your channel is an original (gear and live, production and such),You give an honest and straight up impression, you seem like a humble person with a sense of humor. That is what people like to see when they tune in to a reaction channel among hundreds of reaction channels. Looking forward to the junior world championships hockey in a few days. Bye for now😊🇸🇪🇺🇸🏒🥅
Bruh, you gotta take a deep dive in some much older stuff, the technicality and power of their first two albums will melt your face off. Definitely check out Wanderlust Live and She Is My Sin Live from the wishmaster tour dvd they did, they're both incredible. But even further back than that there's an epic performance of Gethsemane on what looks like a Top Of The Pops MTV European show, and it's SERIOUSLY impressive to hear. I know you're a Marco fanboy, and sadly these are videos from before Marco joined, but could be cool to see what their older gear looked like and what their older songs sound like!!
I think it's not only about 'addictions' but also about getting away from all of those things and getting out into nature 🌏🌱 (Tuomas said: "It's a reminder. It's some food for thought. I see it more as an optimistic video than pessimistic. Especially the last 10 seconds of the video, when you see the beautiful forest and the landscape, it should fill you with hope the real world is still out there)
It is actually amazing how Nightwish got this so right. We actually live in a world full of lies, the lyrics and the video. I see Human :ll: Nature cd behind you...if you will do the whole album, you'll have a great journey ahead of you, can't wait :) have a great Christmas 🎄
Again, a lot of 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I love your reaktions man. My own journey in music started with my dad who played in different bands in his youth (we had a big drum kit in our storehouse that I sit and bang on. And when I got a little bit older (like six years) started to understand that the sound I made was the same (well not as good) as the music I heard my dad was playing on his "stereo" (like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath). And in my younger years (I was born in 1972) I got hit by Kiss (hallelujah) :). And Later Mötley Crüe 🤘. And I taught "this is it, there cannot be anything better than this". Then I became a father (at the age of eighteen). And I stopped listening to "my music" for some years, just so be awakened when I first heard "Dance with the devil" by Phenomena (the good, Glenn Hughes on vocals). The first Phenomena album is probably the best 80s hard rock album made. I even didn't like Metallica at that time (shame on me). And I started to listen to whatever came in my way. And I am so glad that I stopped being so "focused" in the style of music that I used to like and started to listen to whatever, and started to appreciate some stuff that was way out of the "Cool zone". Nightwish was one of those bands that was considered as a band (in my community circle i my youth) to be soft and operatic, So I never gave them a chance. Man am I sorry for that now. These guys are BLOWING my away. This starting to get way to long of a comment so I stop now. Bless you all of you who find the music that you like and love ( it might not be the same that I love, but the feels is the same ). Music unites and brings people together. So let's keep listening, enjoy and share music with each other. LOVE
I'm like you, with a music video I don't seem to get into the music as much as with a live performance. I can tell this is a great song but I think it needs a live performance to really come into its own and become an excellent one. Can't think of any Nightwish song that I didn't love twice as much live. Bring on March!
This video and of course the song gave me a lot of things to think about. I like that they included something what looked like cyber bullying (when a group of people attacked that one guy), because that's one of the main problems on social media and on internet as a whole.
JUST RELEASED (Dec 24th): *_”Dark Chest of Wonders”_* recorded during Jukka's last show with Nightwish, M'Era Luna Hildesheim, August 11 2013. Being Jukka´s last show, this one is absolutely legendary. With footage of the Imaginaerum Tour: th-cam.com/video/3BVzcIaoVoY/w-d-xo.html
@Tank Gotta do a reaction to this one. There’s lots of interesting stuff I’d love to hear you talk about. There’s practice/warm up gear and pre-show activities.
Between tank's nightwish Wednesdays and the fact that prime is releasing a new episode of Expanse every Wednesday, this has, by far, become my favorite day of the week!!
I just laughed my ass off at your Empu EV-1 comment near the end. Lol! Maybe that should be the model you ask for from ESP if they offer to send you a guitar for the wall?!
Ahh, so you started in the release order, I think it's a brave route :P The next one then must be Harvest (Troyyyyy ❤) and Ad Astra (an awesome colab), and only then start watching it following the proper album order: 1) Music: is magical, maybe you should watch on your own TGSOE before that recording, so you can pick up the conections right away. 2) Noise: right here, i liked that brief but meaningful part Kai did, he represents social media policing what others do :/ 3) Shoemaker: very very beautiful, indeed some research is necessary before reacting to it. 4) Harvest: 100% folk, and HAPPY (I remember Elvann said it was the first song from them that she ever heard played in mayor cords). 5) Pan: it's a wicked song :P 6) How's the Heart?: the radio friendly track, it's gorgeous! MUST doble react to the accoustic version too. 7) Procession: this one broke me. It's like a litany, super super sad. 8) Tribal: awesome drums, and a very controversial topic :p 9) Endlessness: this ine has many fans, and I hated it at first, because I was expecting sonething more heavy :/ but, after many listening sesions, finally I got it's vibe. Hopefully you click with it in the first one, or many people will come to the comments with torches 😂
There's so much happening in this video. The first time I watched it, the message I got was "technology is bad." But the more details I've noticed, the more I realized that's not what they're saying at all. If you focus on each band member specifically, you see the contrast between their portrayal in the first and second half of the video. Like Tuomas the tree-hugging environmentalist who bathes in oil. Or Floor the "perfect mother" who keeps her child in a figurative cage. It's all about the lies that people tell ourselves and others. How we curate our lives and portray on social media only what we want the world to see. We live a contradiction - one life online, a different one altogether in reality. They're not saying that technology is bad. But all that about the "black mirror," they're warning about how it can become a false reflection of reality.
It took me three or four times watching this video to catch all the nuances, like for example that Tuomas plays both the tree-hugger and the guy bathing in oil.. It is a seriously crazy production.
It took me a couple of times watching/listening to this, to get in. It was só confusing. Chase's and your reactions help, each in their own way. Cool! Will they use this video as background at the lifestream concert? We will go mad! Chase was concerned for "This-girl-with-no-clothes-on" getting cold. Really funny! He is so thoughtful to all of us. You have a friend, Mr.Tank! And we support this bromance ;-) Next: Tribal! Banger!
I'll admit it, I'm addicted to watching Nightwish and Floor reaction video's.. Especially during this crap Covid-19 pandemic without any real live music etc it's the only way for me to stay sane..
I think you've earned an EV-1 for that wall. Purple, of course! Love your honesty, love this channel. Keep it up Tank :) Also hoping Nightwish call you up and get you involved when they tour next. Can dream, eh?
So here we are here again Tank, once again I have to bring up Skinny Puppy(lol now twice :) ), they also have a lot of videos that have to to with the state of affairs in the world, but those were things in 80s and 90s. So another social commentary on the World. Great video!!! Thanks Tank.
Nice one Tank, and much respect regarding what you said re being an 'influencer', it shows you have integrity. Also, nice to hear Fear Factory in the background 🤘
I was wondering - for a some time now, seeing the album behind you - when you get to react to some of the "Human. :II: Nature." stuff. This is your answer... and I really like it very much. And your social media/like/dislike attitude as well. For me, this is a platform to listen to the music, have fun and share my opinion with the others in my limited free time between work, duties, girlfriend and sleep. The added value of inspirational, educational and socializing function of this reaction platform is trully something I wasn't expecting, when I signed up and I'm very very grateful for it. Thank you for your time, effort, observations and the positive emotions, you share with us 👌 See you at The Islanders Arms virtual event in May, I hope 🤘 Merry and peaceful Christmas, to you and the whole "Tank" family 🎅
I don't remember where I saw it, there is a video of Toumas listening to Du Hast and talking about how it influenced their sound, particularly in I Wish I had an Angel.
Really like this song one of my faves from the new album thanks for this reaction... I sense we will have this live eventually on march. This song is also my ring tone And... I need to join that discord its been 20 weeks what am i doing lol 😂 everyone that likes nightwish deserves my love
You picked up the main theme of the song and the video without delving into the lyrics, kudos! And you don't need to worry: to me and to a lot of other people it's all about quality, not about quantity. And isn't it nice to see that when the quality is imminent, like in your reactions, the quantity just takes care of itself...
The video was also pointing out how influencers are often not what they seem. Tuomas, the 'save the Earth' green influencer, was the one sitting in the crude oil. King Troy's throne was just a toilet. The happy mother and daughter was just a facade, and you see the daughter under Floor's hoop skirt as though she's trapped in a cage. Marco, the diet pill pusher, is sitting in a warehouse surrounded by boxes, just as unhappy as everyone else. The underwear model is seen cringing through what are probably botox injections just to keep herself 'beautiful'. It's a message to not idolize them too much, and take what they're pushing with a grain of salt

Absolute YES to the whole Human/Nature album, a fantastic work of art/music! Btw, great reaction!
Just as a side note this was the most expensive music video ever done in Finland .This whole album is a masterpiece
I'm with you 500% on the wanting to see this performed live. Think I'm gonna have to check them out if they make it Stateside next year.
Can't wait to see these songs live!
Same!
Haha
@@TankTheTech
Yeah... protect your kids! Smart man. 🤘🏻
I was in my 30s. 😂
I still remember getting dial-up internet when I was a kid. My dad was an electrical engineer so we had to have all the techie stuff ASAP.
Jesus I’m old. 😂
(I just remembered watching the first day of MTV!)
@@TankTheTech Wish there were more parents and future parents like you. It's so sad to watch 2 year old staring in the screen of a smartphone.
@@TankTheTech I really think you should check these three sisters who wrote a song on the same subject three years ago. Watch the baby in the beginning. vimeo.com/210374020 Imagine that they were 12, 15, and 17 when they wrote that. 🤘😎🤘
@@TankTheTech Good luck with that!
Human Nature is prob my favourite Nightwish album to date. The lyrics the subject matters and the musical composition❤ Absolutely Phenomenal 🤘🏻👌🏻
Dude. I can't wait for them to start touring again! This song and a lot of the other new ones will be so freaking insane live!
Also, love the Fear Factory at the end!
Yes! Glad some people caught the FF.
OMG at 18.00 Chase and 18.30 Tank!~ What a great way to begin the evening !!
it´s not against technology per se. but against addiction and the "countless lies". thanks for your great reaction, tank. happy holidays for you and your loved ones.
The "Human Nature" album was the first to be written with Kai on the drums (he recorded "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" but it was written with Juka) and, to me anyway, the drums sound more aggressive than on the other albums (bringing his Wintersun influence).
The movie "Imaginaerum by Nightwish" is also a good watch, and I think has the same Director.
I am waiting that they start playing live again because only thing in this video is missing is the energy from band and
audience .
NW is maybe only band I like to listen live but you can all most touch the energy and band is not just doing their job on stage, the whole band enjoys every gig they play.
Can't wait Pan reaction ... such a master piece !
There’s so much in Human :||: Nature that’s awesome as well and I think you’re gonna love it 😁 Harvest has a really folky feel for me, the drums on Tribal are crazy (Kai had to add five drums to his kit!), and while not really as metal as a lot of their songs, How’s the Heart will grab you 😊 There’s a live video for How’s the Heart with only Floor and Troy - Troy is playing a classical guitar and singing harmonies 👍
Thanks again and have a very merry Christmas 🎄 and a most wonderful New Year 🤘😎🎸
I can't wait to see how they'll perform the new album live on the livestream in March.
This is such a great song and video, thanks Tank for being genuine and not bowing to influencers (as you put it). Merry Christmas buddy and to all !!!
I think the emotion behind what you put out is important. You're not vapid, you have real insight and emotion behind your content.
Love the song and the Album. It’s one of the gifts I got my Mum for Xmas. She likes the old stuff but not heard Floor yet... what a treat. Have a great Xmas Bro 👊🏻🥃🍺
"ESP, if you want to send me a guitar..." I was expecting to hear "Specifically, an Empuu Signature EV-1 in purple." Hahah :)
LOL, I thought the same thing!
Those vocal gymnastics, short staccato delivery hoping through the notes and then that mix space belt at the end - floorgasms throughout.
I recommend watching the live acoustic version of "How's the Heart", mostly because there is Troy playing acoustic guitar with Floor, so new gear to comment on.
I really can't wait to see a reaction to "Endlessness". I know about Floorgasms, but there must be a thing like Marco-gasms too...?
Thanks for the dedication and I'm glad you enjoyed it. As for the only take on "live" performances of Human Nature, you can do the acoustic version of "How's the heart" (maybe a back to back along with the lyric video as Chase did). Merry Christmas!
I totally can see an Esp Signature EV-1 at your wall my men hahaha defenitely ... Greetings from Santiago de Chile!
Great reaction with total honesty and self awareness.
Absolutely love your self aware rambling about being a TH-camr, humble and honest. Thank you
This video is amazing and has so much stuff going on that I had to rewatch it several times to try to catch up everything.
Oh, man, Tank. I can't wait to see your reaction to Harvest and Shoemaker. I'm here for it all.
Like I said months ago, you’re gonna hit 50.000 subs before the end of this crappy year, seems I’m gonna be right 😉
Why?...because your channel is an original (gear and live, production and such),You give an honest and straight up impression, you seem like a humble person with a sense of humor.
That is what people like to see when they tune in to a reaction channel among hundreds of reaction channels.
Looking forward to the junior world championships hockey in a few days.
Bye for now😊🇸🇪🇺🇸🏒🥅
This album is not even close to their prior masterpieces but still better than most of nowadays music.
I think it's not only about 'addictions' but also about getting away from all of those things and getting out into nature 🌏🌱
(Tuomas said: "It's a reminder.
The last 5 seconds of the video are the most important for me. That is what we are all letting pass us by.
And finally the hat came off!!! LOL Love your reaction Tank
Nightwish was one of those bands that was considered as a band (in my
community circle i my youth) to be soft and operatic, So I never gave them a chance.
Bring on March!
great reaction, as usual, and loving the background music, fear factory, actually had Demanufacture on earlier today!! \m/
Nice!!!
And I got my wish!
Thanks for your insight and expertise on live music tech, your one of my favorite reactors. Happy holidays and LETS GO!!!
Good reaction as always !!! Can't wait to see you react to Shoemaker !!! BTW i like your Fear Factory ambiance at the end !!!
Yes!!! Glad someone caught that! Thanks!
Between tank's nightwish Wednesdays and the fact that prime is releasing a new episode of Expanse every Wednesday, this has, by far, become my favorite day of the week!!
fear factory in the background 🤘
can't wait for the stream gig, I'm sure we will hear this there.
Love the Sevendust in the background in the intro! 🤘
As always great react Tank.
Coming up: an evening with Nightwish Virtual World, March 12 & 13, 2021.
Got me a ticket!
I just laughed my ass off at your Empu EV-1 comment near the end. Lol! Maybe that should be the model you ask for from ESP if they offer to send you a guitar for the wall?!
Ahh, so you started in the release order, I think it's a brave route :P
The next one then must be Harvest (Troyyyyy ❤) and Ad Astra (an awesome colab), and only then start watching it following the proper album order:
1) Music: is magical, maybe you should watch on your own TGSOE before that recording, so you can pick up the conections right away.
2) Noise: right here, i liked that brief but meaningful part Kai did, he represents social media policing what others do :/
3) Shoemaker: very very beautiful, indeed some research is necessary before reacting to it.
4) Harvest: 100% folk, and HAPPY (I remember Elvann said it was the first song from them that she ever heard played in mayor cords).
5) Pan: it's a wicked song :P
6) How's the Heart?: the radio friendly track, it's gorgeous! MUST doble react to the accoustic version too.
7) Procession: this one broke me. It's like a litany, super super sad.
8) Tribal: awesome drums, and a very controversial topic :p
9) Endlessness: this ine has many fans, and I hated it at first, because I was expecting sonething more heavy :/ but, after many listening sesions, finally I got it's vibe.
Merry Christmas Tank🎄⛄. Thanks for the great content. Looking forward to what's ahead.
Man, after watching this when it first came out I sat down and had a good long think about social media and how I use it.
It took me three or four times watching this video to catch all the nuances, like for example that Tuomas plays both the tree-hugger and the guy bathing in oil.. It is a seriously crazy production.
Great reaction mate!! Keep going this is a great album to explore, related to technology and human nature, once again great!
And we support this bromance ;-)
Next: Tribal! Banger!
I hope ESP sees this and send you a purple EV-1.
Hahaha. I actually know a couple people at ESP because we use their guitars in the road, but I’d love for them to send me an EV-1. Haha
I freakin love this song ... (and the clip ... (and your reaction))
I'll admit it, I'm addicted to watching Nightwish and Floor reaction video's.. Especially during this crap Covid-19 pandemic without any real live music etc it's the only way for me to stay sane..
i was supposed to see them in September 2020 and now the date has been moved to October 2021 and the tour is for this album
I think you've earned an EV-1 for that wall. Purple, of course! Love your honesty, love this channel. Keep it up Tank :) Also hoping Nightwish call you up and get you involved when they tour next. Can dream, eh?
Thumbs up for honesty :-) Especially the part about influencers.
🤘🤘🤘
I was wondering - for a some time now, seeing the album behind you - when you get to react to some of the "Human. :II: Nature." stuff. This is your answer... and I really like it very much. And your social media/like/dislike attitude as well. For me, this is a platform to listen to the music, have fun and share my opinion with the others in my limited free time between work, duties, girlfriend and sleep. The added value of inspirational, educational and socializing function of this reaction platform is trully something I wasn't expecting, when I signed up and I'm very very grateful for it.
Thank you for your time, effort, observations and the positive emotions, you share with us 👌
See you at The Islanders Arms virtual event in May, I hope 🤘
Merry and peaceful Christmas, to you and the whole "Tank" family 🎅
Whew, for a moment I thought you weren't going to mention the EV-1
I don't remember where I saw it, there is a video of Toumas listening to Du Hast and talking about how it influenced their sound, particularly in I Wish I had an Angel.
I have tickets to see Nightwish in Dec, hope it's not delayed again.
Really like this song one of my faves from the new album thanks for this reaction...
I sense we will have this live eventually on march.
This song is also my ring tone
And... I need to join that discord its been 20 weeks what am i doing lol 😂 everyone that likes nightwish deserves my love
I love the subtle Sevendust Black on the intro!
🤘🤘🤘
You picked up the main theme of the song and the video without delving into the lyrics, kudos! And you don't need to worry: to me and to a lot of other people it's all about quality, not about quantity. And isn't it nice to see that when the quality is imminent, like in your reactions, the quantity just takes care of itself...
seeing troy dressed as a king on a throne was my favorite part of this music video
Nightwish just released a special version of Dark Chest of Wonders, Jukka's last show and plenty of behind the scenes. Should do it next Wednesday!
