Intra-cluster migration has been the killer feature proxmox has always lacked. We have about 20 different individual clusters, and reimaging them or doing maintenance on an entire cluster is always such a huge pain in the ass because we have hundreds of VMs per cluster.

What do you need exposed on the remotes to manage?
The only thing that would need to be exposed would be port 8443. This is what the PDM uses to access the UI.
