In a historic move, Senegal has elected Bassirou Diomaye Faye as the country's youngest President. Faye's win is significant to the African nation, where unrest and political turmoil have increased at an unprecedented rate over the last few years. Notably, Faye was elected President just ten days after his release from prison. Faye contested as a leader of the left-wing opposition of the West African country. He openly admits to being in a polyamourous marriage, and claims to be help combat the unemployment crisis in Senegal.
