MissFlow Seeing humans melt ( wether it’s through acid or radiation ) is one of my worst fears ever something about it terrifies me and I don’t get scared by anything at all not heights or sharks or drowning etc
@@-CloClo- I think the most painful “eaten by an animal” death would have to be the ants from “Indiana Jones 4.” Just imagine hundreds of finger-sized ants crawling all over you; biting and tearing your body apart as your corpse gets carried to their hill.
3:30 - 3:42 that was fucking priceless. the delivery, the background, the joke itself, everything. havent laughed that hard in what feels like a long time.
That guard didn't deserve that. Maybe the main guard or the main villain, but then again he probably got it the worst. They shouldn't of mutated his pupper.
I liked the list, but definitely felt that scene and the huge, shortly-lived vampire "Frost" in From Dusk 'til Dawn deserved a mention. Just for how effective and fluidically he melted, and how it was a shock to the cast, the audience, and even Frost himself when he suddenly melted.
Holy shit this video was HYSTERICAL! Great job breaking down all those melt scenes man, I agree with everything you said. And that bonus Melton at the end was awesomely done. Good work dude
What is the name of the movie that has the melting scene that involves a grown man with long-ish hair and a teenage boy with a skateboard? I couldn’t tell if they were both melting or if it was the older man
Street Trash still reigns supreme! 'The Fly II' had a pretty good face-melt-by-fly-vomit scene. 5:43 THE Evil Dead 7:17 Ever see Body Melt? 7:41 Ever see Bad Taste?
I work with industrial degreaser and I've literally been sprayed in the face with it. This kind of stuff hurts very bad, but unless it's on you for a ridiculous amount of time you get a nasty scab but heal just fine. We joke about stuff like this all the time though. We also yell "keep awaaay!" And spaz out when it gets in our eyes like the scene from 28 days later because its funny.
Where I live, my one room apartment is right off the sidewalk, which is right off the road. In winter, when the snow off this main road piles up on its curb from the plow, eventually a massive snowblower and dump truck duo come along and grind that icy chunk up and away. Very noisy and I can even feel the vibrations of it crunching away as I sit on my sofa. Well, that’s what I felt and heard as the 3:27 mark started. It was surreal to be watching This while hearing and feeling That!! Now, all I needed was Smell’O’Rama to round it all out!!
I like when they melt the bone doesn’t melt because realistically the bone can’t melt unless it becomes inorganic ash and it becomes crystallized with a lot of heat

There is a film in which the hero who is a civil engineer, architect or miner, he falls in love with a ghost. In the last scene, he kisses her and then she starts melting. Can someone please tell me the film's name?
You forgot to mention The Fly series, especially Fly 2 when the guard gets a blast of acid to the face. Honorable mention also goes to Troll 2, while it's not technically a "melt" in the traditional sense, it's still close enough when the girl gets slowly turned into vegetable matter and eaten alive.
One memorable melt missed this list - the ending to Thanatomorphosis. It's really a blend between speed-rotting and melting, but the MC is undergoing putrefaction, so it is _a_ kind of melt. The downside is that to see it you end up having to watch the movie. Basic plot is that this woman's life sucks and she feels dead inside, oh wait, she's actually dead inside and kinda rotting. In a similar vein, there are the rot-melts in 1988's Dead Heat, where a revivification formula can bring the dead back to life, but after around twelve hours the formula fades and the revived person breaks down, melting into mush. The plot is a buddy cop movie where one cop is killed and revived, and has a time limit on finding out who his killer is.
as a slimy horror fan that generally avoids vampire movies for fear of repetitive plots....i see im missing a lot of great effects :0c have you seen body melt 1993! i only vividly remember one death near the end where a guy basically chokes on/drowns in his own snot that he starts rapidly producing due to the body melt drug, and then also melts, i think. its been a while but i know there must have been melting. a really fun bizarre movie ^^
Some other melt movies this TH-camr forgot to mention are We all Scream for ice cream from the Master of Horror tv series, Cube zero and Ritual from Tales from the crypt.
I love dark 80's movies the best and you left out Lost Boys one of the vampire gang gets melted by holy water one of the Frog Boys poured in their friends tub it's my favorite vampire movies!
Surprised you didn't have honorable mentions. I mean, there's a movie literally called "Body Melt", which at least should have been something to briefly mention I think.
You missed Cube and of course... Wizard of Oz which I was waiting the hole video for. Not gorey though, so I get why the Wicked Witch was skipped. There's a few others but I am having trouble placing them or remembering what they were from. There's also a good smattering of melting people during the 80s/90s horror anthology craze with shows like Tales from the Crypt. But they aren't movies.

Kyle Dumers It’s a clay animated short that was featured in a special that was on the Chiller channel, when it was still in existence. Animation and live action mostly amateur film makers, submitted shorts and their work was featured. If I remember correctly, this was about a young boy that was afraid to use the toilet in his house. His parents were trying to potty train him. This scene was of him having a nightmare about going to go use the toilet. He woke up after and decided to just go and use it since he needed it. And further horror continues.. I think the show was called; ‘The ABC’s Of Horror’. This whole short film might be here on TH-cam, you might have to check out animated horror shorts on here to find it..
Hey man! So I’ve been trying to find a commercial for the longest and Ill see if you know about it. It was around the late 90s and early 2000s I believe. It was a Christmas commercial or scene that seemed normal and was in a empty living room with many Christmas decorations. There was a tree and presents under it and the camera slowly got closer to the tree and then slowly pointed down to a present. As the camera got closer to the present, the lid opened and there was a severed head in the box. I can’t remember if it was a zombie head or fresh human. Not sure if it was a commercial for a game or movie... any help lol
SlendertubbieGamer Po it’s called The Mildew From Planet Xonader . Made by the same company that brought us other time warner family classics like hotel inferno 2: cathedral of pain and Adam Chaplain.
IDK man, this is pretty much all the melting scenes I knew of. If I can collect more scenes to compile into a video like this again, I will. I have lots of ideas similar to this video though.
That scene almost made this video, but I couldn't find a HD version of it and I own it on an old dvd so that wouldn't have been good either. Great melt though! People like to shit on Jason goes to Hell, but it was actually the first Friday movie I saw as a kid and it's what made me want to watch more Friday the 13th movies.
there's this movie i saw once a long time ago. it involved a melting scene in a basement. a girl was sitting in her underwear on a pingpong table, and a guy comes down the stairs and she entices him to walk over to her . but he steps in what seems to be acid and he completely melts to the floor. its a low budget pic that seems like its shown around halloween time. anyone know the name of it?

Basically any death that involves suffocating or getting boiled.
