I read about this during CES, but the coverage I saw made no sense. Now I get it, so cool. Thanks for the excellent coverage. I hope they get something close to this into actual production. So great to see thinking about disability included from the ground up.
Fantastic t see first party solutions for wheelchair access. Even if this is an expensive option, it will have been designed in and is likely to be less expensive than the current conversion solutions.
Very interesting thanks for sharing looks like exciting times ahead . It's our future I strongly believe. Interesting time to be alive can't wait for what tomorrow brings.😊
Will be very cool for rideshare. I'm excited for the PV5 as a personal vehicle. Since the concept is modular, it seems like they're skipping the front passenger seat for the hailing and including it in the personal vehicle, but I'd imagine the flexibility remains that you can elect to have the hailing model front cabin as a personal vehicle. So if the driver is in a wheelchair, then their car is ready for them right from the factory. - Liv
💯We'll be in the market to replace our nearly 20 year old wheelchair van once our Mach-E is paid off. I hope there will be a BEV option then. The PV5 looks to be more in the concept phase than production intent.
Oh wow, thanks for sharing Jeremy. I hope there are other options too. Kia did say that the PV5 will be coming in 2025 and it will be 85% of what we saw at CES. I'm going to be poking them often about keeping the accessibility in the forefront! - Liv

I love the concept!
Very cool! The design reminds me of the Ford Areostar from the 1980's.
Those all wheel drive Aerostars were the best vehicles in the snow and ice.

Cool concept. would be great to supplement larger busses and other vans around town
